A cosy laid-back restaurant with rooms which was exceptional value. Aimed at the cycling community, it was convenient for an overnight stop before skiing. The proprietor very kindly stayed on well after 9pm to serve us dinner and much-needed beers after our journey was badly delayed during farmers' strikes. Rooms were clean, warm and comfy with rustic decor. The dinner and breakfast were simple and delicious. There is a private car park at the back.

The chalet is in a great location. It is nice and cosy and modern and has everything you need. François is the best host I’ve ever stayed with. He is very thoughtful, kind and caring. The breakfasts were really good, and the presentation of all of the food was exceptional. The chalet had a beautiful view of the mountains all around and the garden is lovely.

The village was very charming with cobbled streets and beautiful buildings. We ate at La Romanche three times during our stay and loved it. There was also a little cafe at the corner a couple doors away from La Romanche that had delicious crepes! We loved the Saturday farmers' market with fresh produce, cheese and meat among many other delicious food.

We holidayed in Bourg d'Oisans because of its fame as being one of the most important areas in the Tour de France. It is literally at the foot of the iconic Alpe d'Huez, which anyone will know if they follow Cycle road racing. So there are lots of cyclists here, trying their luck at the many Tour de France climbs on offer, but it is also an attractive town in its own right, surrounded on every side by high mountains. If you like the mountain environment, then you will like Bourg d'Oisans.

A superb farmhouse fitted out to a very high specification.
A superb farmhouse fitted out to a very high specification. Very peaceful with sunshine in the afternoon. It lies on a greenway/cycle route and is within walking distance of Bourg town centre. The owner Isabel is great and speaks good English. We went for a cycling holiday - this area is simply brilliant for those pretending to ride the Tour de France. Bourg is a lovely Alpine valley traditional village with a great street market on Saturday (is there such a thing as a bad French street market?) and a good choice of restaurants and shops. The weather (July) was also superb. The large ski lifts were working for hikers and mountain bikers if that is your thing. Top!

Lovely town at the foot of Le Alpe Du Huez making it the perfect location for exploring the area. It has a number of bars and restaurants and a market on Saturday morning. The views of the mountains are spectacular especially when they are snow peaked as they're when we arrived.
Opposite Carrefore Express on the Avenue de la republic is an excellent restaurant although i don't have the name of it the staff and the food was first class and the car park is next door you can't miss it.

If you like bicycles, this is a place you should visit once in a life.
There are no easy mountains around here, but it's a great experience. There are also plenty of rental bike shops, so you can easily challenge.
I would recommend.
Some shops are closed except in high season.
Also, be careful because the restaurant closes quickly. (9pm)

What a great hotel. Friendly and welcoming; the hotel owner has good plans for the hotel but we enjoyed it as it is. There is a swimming pool and lovely gardens at the back of the hotel. We were able to park our motorbike in one of the outbuildings. Amazing views of the mountains from our bedroom. We didn't have the breakfast here but we would do if we were to stay here again. The hotel has been very tastefully restored and maintained. Loved the furniture in the foyer and the vintage elevator. Thoroughly recommend.
Really nice stay at the Hotel Terminus in Bg. d’Oisans. Perfect location for starting hiking or cycling trips. The location makes possible to go to Col du Glandon/Alpe d’Huez/Col du Galibier in not much time. Separated secured place for bikes available. Kind Personal that tries to supply all our needs. Possibility of breakfast and dinner. For starters from the Marmotte Alpes also a perfect place. Only 1 km or less from the start point and is not needed to descend Alpe d’Huez before starting. A recommander.
Very nice hotel in the centre of town. Decent sized room bit the tiniest bathroom I have ever had in an hotel, less than 30cm to squeeze past the basin to the toilet. All functioned, just very small. No wardrobe just boxes and pegs on the wall, see photo. I would have preferred a wardrobe and a chair.
We arrived early, soaked through in torrential thunder storm, the owners let us use a basement room to get changed and hang wet kit. Parking at the rear for motorcycles.
A beautiful lodge hotel in a glorious setting. Excellent base for exploring the local area, with on site parking. Rooms are not huge but are very well laid out and the bathroom was modern. Walking distance to the supermarket and local town, where there is so much to do and explore
The hotel is very clean and nice, located perfectly inside the vilage (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy in the same street). The village is very calm and quit. The view of the mountains around the vollage is very impressive. The hotel manager is very kind
Breakfast was very good and extensive. My room had quite an interesting bathroom setup, looked like a small sauna from outside. Really good facilities.
The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, located inside a valley surrounded by mountains.
Soulful hotel, great ambiance, nice people. Lively village with plenty dining options, spectacular hiking options in the area. Hotel is quiet, good breakfast, thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool. You gotta experience the wooden elevator.
friendly owner, lovely room, very clean and nice breakfast, free wifi.
You have a code to enter the hotel whenever it suits you.
Although it was next to a busy raod the noise was minimal.
We would book again and recommend to friends!
I stayed at the Oberland 3 previous times before the new ownership. The updates to the hotel were done well and very much needed. The Oberland will be my first choice when returning to Bourg d'Osains.
Breakfast and dinner were very good. The hotel is a bit like a good quality youth hostel, attracting many walkers and cyclists, so a communal dinner outside at a long table was a nice feature.
The hotel was ideally located for cycling with all of the facilities a cyclist would require. staff were friendly and a great breakfast. we had a very big comfortable room.
Really enjoyed our two night stay for our bike ride up Alpe d’Huez. The area is beautiful, the hotel met all our needs and was clean. What more could we ask for.
Breakfast was amazing. Local cheeses, fresh baguettes etc. Simple, perfect. Recently modernised hotel, value for money, friendly and welcoming. Really nice.
Very clean and well equipped.
Our children really enjoyed the facilities in hotel lounge.
The outdoor sauna was a lovely way to relax after a days skiing.
