L’île d’Oléron is a beautiful island for a holiday. Le Château d’Oléron is the first town after you arrive on the island. It is a lively little town with a fortress and a pretty fishing port. There are plenty of artists’ cabins in which you can find unique arts and crafts. The restaurants serve delicious seafood.
