Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start.
Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals.
Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area. Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre. We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Lovely friendly staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Sarah sorted the rooms out. Ioan, big Jake, Ruth, Maisey and Grace were also extremely helpful in their allocated roles. Beautiful hotel and windrush room was gorgeous. We are there in the evenings and both nights the food was delicious.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Very cosy hotel stayed before only do so on our visits to Cheltenham races in the winter months.Easy to get into Cheltenham races through out short cuts across country!! The hotel is beautiful and it was such a pleasure to enjoy such an historic building which has been maintained in excellent condition. My husband says his full english breakfast was the best he has ever had. And my poached eggs were pretty good too. Our black labrador was made very welcome and even received her own sausages for breakfast! Burford is a beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding area. We all felt that the staff enhanced the stay with their friendly, attentive and professional manner. The hotel sits at the top of the main high street road so its an easy stroll down into Burford town. They had a pianist playing as we arrived and later that evening it snowed making the whole experience very festive. We will definitely stay here gain. THANK YOU .

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast really was lovely. The breakfast area was very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were adequate as you do not spend a lot of time in them. My husband found the bed comfortable but I prefer a firmer mattress. Bathroom was quite spacious, shower was good and there were plenty toiletries for you to use.

This time however we had a very small room. Tiny bathroom and the room was at eye level to the road so we had to keep the curtains drawn due to passers-by. It was fine to sleep in but not really a room to stay in to relax for the early evening. We chose to read in the Bar before dinner rather than sit in the room. Bed was comfy though
