Just an amazing city where modern meets traditional. A vibrant place filled with beautiful architecture and culture, all with a feeling of togetherness and a real sense of the spirit of the Mancunian people. A warm convivial and friendly place which welcomes all comers. Such a diverse mix of restaurants, bars and eating places to cater for all tastes. The trams are fantastic. the lifeblood of the city centre and a great way to get around easily. The City has shrugged off its grim up North appearance and now bristles with businesses, new buildings and opportunities. Not the cheapest place to visit but certainly much better value than London. This was our 10th trip to Manchester the city is vibrant and full of bars, restaurants and also great for shopping you have so many places to visit there is the Arndale centre in the heart of the city but also the Trafford centre a short ride on the tram and it stops directly outside the the centre you'll find shops bars and plenty of places to eat there is also 2 arcades in the centre itself with bars inside if you want to relax while younger people want to check out the games the centre is massive and worth a trip out if its your first timeleslieIreland - 10Scored 10

Manchester is a great city to explore on foot. The architecture is spectacular, just look up! We loved the converted warehouse and industrial areas such as Depot Mayfield. There was a great free exhibition of David Hoyle's art at Aviva Studios. We found the Industrial and Science Museum fascinating, linking the city's past and present creativity. Cool independent bars and restaurants, including The Smithfield Social and the Mews Bar and Charcuterie in Deansgate Mews. Delicious modern Indian cuisine at Asha's.SarahUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
