The copper bath tub, but even the river view is not worth with a view, is disappointing as the windows steams up and condenses as there is not double glazing. They also don’t give any products to use in the bath,

A warm welcome from the team and a convenient location, just 5 minutes away from Richmond Station. The room was authentic and spacious, equipped with everything you need for a few nights, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast added a lovely touch to our stay.

During my travels through London, I have experienced numerous accommodations, and I must commend the Selwyn Hotel for making a truly remarkable impression. The atmosphere was exceptionally warm and welcoming, a perfect respite following our journey from the States. The comfort of the beds significantly enhanced our first night's stay.
Located in Richmond, the hotel was an ideal base for exploring local sites. The staff consistently extended a warm welcome, making our visit even more enjoyable. The manager personally ensured that we were well cared for, further exemplifying the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest service. Each staff member we encountered was both friendly and professional.
I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to London, during which I intend to return to the Selwyn Hotel. This stay was a standout experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional hospitality.

Didn’t get chance to see more than the park but it was worth the stay just for that. We were visiting for a sporting event nearby and we were perfectly situated. The surrounding area looked lovely, very green and clean. Walking in London and seeing wild deer is a must

Beautiful place. Loads of lovely small back streets with unique shops to wander down. Loads of places to eat out. Views from the bridges were amazing. Everything once parked up just seemed within walking distance.

We liked the restaurants and cafés.
We liked the restaurants and cafés. There are many interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed Syon Huse, Osterley House and the London Wetland Centre. It's an easy train journet to Waterloo Station for Central London. I wouldn't want to live under the Heathrow flight path.

The people that run the property are fabulous, some of the nicest people anywhere, also, this is a pub hotel, enjoy a beer or cider while checking in. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and it is included but we ate dinner there both nights that we stayed. The dinners were delicious and there was plenty of food. The location was also great, it is halfway between the train station and Richmond Hill Park. Listen to Pat for directions, he is very helpful. The room was large and everything worked.
Wide variety for breakfast all produce of good quality and cooked breakfast very tasty. Evening dining in beautiful hotel restaurant lovely quality and value for money. Riverside setting. Location gave easy access to nearby sight seeing (Hampton Court Palace, local shops, riverside pubs and restaurants ), trains to central London and 30 mins to Heathrow airport. Good parking facilities and access to water sports, gym, spa, tennis etc. All staff really helpful and friendly.
The location overlookng the Thames is beautiful.
The apartment is close to good restaurants and supermsrkets if you wish to cook in.
Richmond Station is a 10 minute walk away and has Underground Overground and National Rail Services.
Hampton Court, Kew Gardens, Richmond Park are close by as is Twickenham Stoop and Stadium for Rugby enthusiasts.. Central London is easily a accessible by public transport
Hampstead Heath is a short Overground trip away
We took every advantage of the location to walk into the park. Really easy to get into central London which we planned. The service was top notch in the hotel. A perfect hotel for a weekend break.
My only question is the beds - if your small you'd best take a ladder. They are built for giants. I'm 6'2" and when seated on the bed I felt as if I'd shrank 🤣
The Room was comfy, clean and plenty big enough. Good location, easy links to central London via tube or bus. A short walk to Richmond Centre with plenty of restaurants, river and parks. Good breakfast (I didn't try other food during my stay). Friendly staff. Quiet location despite being central as it's just off the main routes.
Beautiful high quality hotel, super friendly staff, excellent rooms and beds, great breakfast. The materials in the hotel are all high quality giving it a luxury atmosphere and still for a reasonable price. The location is excellent, close to Richmond railway station giving this hotel good connections to every location in London.
The staff are very friendly and professional. The hotel very clean and well managed. The location is perfect close to High street Richmnod where different restaurants and shops are located. Also it is few steps away from Richmond rail and underground station. I would difinitly stay at this hotel again.
Everything - wonderful staff, very friendly vibe, lovely location with easy access to transport, the river and central London, comfortable and clean with surprisingly spacious room and bathroom. And great value considering all that.
Beautiful interior decor in the hotel, and easy access to Richmond Park, town centre, the River Thames and lots of great restaurants. Parking directly in front of the hotel was very convenient - important when travelling with kids!
This was the 2nd time we stayed at The Selwyn Hotel, and it as great as the last time. Starting from the friendly ladies at front desk, to the location, rooms, etc. Will definitely be coming back
Able to walk to the Thames and many excellent restaurants, plus short walj to the tube.
Bed comfy, and relatively quiet for London.
