Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, hotel in Turners Hill

The boutique, 5-star Alexander House and Utopia Spa is just 6 miles from Gatwick and close to M25 junction 6 and M23 junction 10.

Spa although seems crazy to be paying additional for this. Shouldnt it be included in the room price - whatever that is?

Turners Hill sits in a good place with restaurants all around. Gets a lot of cyclists in summer, which some find a pain. Not far from glorious countryside, and the town of East Grinstead, which is well worth a visit. It has steam trains as well as an old church. Numerous other attractions too.

We were visiting Standen House - a National Trust property just a few miles away. It’s an Arts and Crafts house by architect Philip Webb and famous designer William Morris. This is well worth the trip.. Can’t say much about Turners Hill - but it looked quite lovely

The room was very comfortable with everything that we needed. The breakfast had a nice variety and we loved the pastries! The gardens are lovely and it's so nice to be able to have a short walk around before leaving. Even though the hotel was fully booked and very busy, the hotel staff made sure that we were sorted out with toothpaste and a plug to charge my mobile.

The hotel's spa services was exactly what we needed, the quality of the food, including breakfast was superb. The room we had was comfortable and spacious with excellent facilities. Being able to play tennis and also use the automatic serving machine, and also go on a long walk within the grounds was the icing on the cake.

We stayed at the hotel for one night to celebrate a birthday. From start to finish we had the best time, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the garden suite was spacious and luxurious. We used the spa facilities which were great although we couldn’t have any treatments as they were fully booked that weekend.

The worst 5 Star hotel I have been for 20 Year ! The rooms and the front of house staff do NOT deserve a 5 star rating, it most over priced hotel I have ever stayed in.
