Room small, miss matched furniture, lights not working. En-suite tiny, towel rail coming away from wall, shower door did not close. The worst thing was they had put books on the step of the fire exit. Totally against fire regulations.

I was so looking forward to fresh chicken breast burger

The staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptional, warm and friendly, helpful and efficient. Best hotel experience we've had in a long time and we are avid travellers. The hotel was immaculate,

We had a nice time here .
The heritage centre is worth a visit. For 5 euro you get to go on a tour and learn lots of the history of Athenry in a fun and interesting way ,you get to wear costumes and you get to do archery and a maze. Such a lovely experience. There's also a castle and an Abbey to visit . Great playground for children.
The food in the restaurants and pubs was just gorgeous. The people were friendly and nice.
Definitely will return again.

Athenry was a wonderful little town to visit.
Athenry was a wonderful little town to visit. Great to get a feel for authentic, non-touristic Irish culture. The town boasts a castle, a friary ruin, an old stone gate, so many gems to visit! Then the nightlife was very fun. Great pubs and music made for one our favorite stops during our 10 day trip to Ireland
Wanted a spot near Shannon airport to make for an easy travel day (50 minutes by car). Rooms are small but lots of storage. Facility has a nice outdoor space for drinks or food that is private but there is smoking allowed there so you never know what you'll get. Their parking lot is also enclosed in that spot so easy to get to. There are not a lot of restaurants in Athenry and the food served here was really quite good and that's a top option for you. Breakfast was very good and included.
The staff were all very young but what stood out for me was their manner, so polite, efficient, constantly working and interested in the customers needs. Whoever is their manager is doing a fantastic job and obviously teaching and treating every individual with respect and they are returning this. The hotel was very relaxing, modern but cosy, food was excellent, bedrooms spacious and so clean. This is a lovely place to stay and swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room excellent
The staff went above and beyond to heal us with our every need. They were extremely prompt with their communications. The rooms were very comfortable and modern. We ate also at the pizzeria below the guestrooms - some of the best pizza ever!! Our family can't recommend this place highly enough!! And liked staying in Athenry instead of Galway - was nice to go into a pub and be the only tourists there. Great base for exploring the Cliffs of Mother and Aran Islands.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. They also seemed to enjoy working there, nice to see that staff are taken care of. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and our room was beautiful, quiet and had a balcony. Leisure Centre was lovely and spa was great! 10/10 and great value. Athenry is a lovely quiet spot about 30 minutes away from Galway City. The bar staff especially Eileen were great banter throughout our stay. We'll be back.
Everything is perfect from the concierge, receptionist was excellent, able to provide us the rooms we have requested.
Rooms were clean and so tidy. Dinner were so great , staff were so welcoming and the service was brilliant. The ambiance of the hotel from lobby to rooms were lovely.
Thank you. Surely we'll be back again.
Breakie was average. Location and hotel was cute and lovely but the thing that lets the hotel down is the rooms are too thin and you can hear every small movement. And it’s just normal movement so this makes sleep very challenging. It’s a shame as staff are exceptional and I love the rooms coming into the hotel .
Lovely hotel with exceptional staff .really nice leisure centre .food lovely .toilets immaculate. Reception staff really nice .I would highly recommend this hotel as the train stops in Athenry so its just a few minutes from Galway
The breakfast included in the price is absolutely amazing. You can have whatever you want from the menu, and the food is really high quality. I am always so full after breakfast!
We enjoyed a 2-night stay in this hotel. The breakfast was basic but nice. We had dinner on one evening and it was also very nice. The room was comfortable and clean.
Beautiful quaint hotel. Lovely reception rooms for sitting to chat/read. Staff were great - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast were just beautiful. Lots to eat.
The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The location was excellent. I have been to Athenry numerous times but thes lodgings were the best
