The staff were friendly and very helpful in helping us with places of interest and transport. Location was amazing and the view from our room fantastic. There is a restaurant downstairs where we had a great traditional Italian meal, with a very friendly proprietor and his wife. Great breakfast with plenty of variety. Good, free parking. Quiet for being on the Amalfi Coast with good access to all the places you would want to visit - Scala, Ravello, Minori, Maiori, Amalfi and Pompeii.
Hotel La Margherita - Villa Giuseppina is located in the hills above the Amalfi Coast. It offers air-conditioned rooms with balconies or terraces and panoramic views, private bathroom and TV.

The hotel is called Palazzo Pascal Luxury Experience and it is all about luxury. Our room was beautiful and clean. The terrace was amazing and we were given a complimentary bottle of bubbles to enjoy on the terrace. We loved our bath tubes and slippers and the lovely quality toiletries. We will definitely be back.
Boasting a balcony with garden views, pool with a view and a garden, Villa san Lorenzo rooms can be found in Scala, close to San Lorenzo Cathedral and 2.5 km from Atrani Beach.

The host was very quick to respond and helped us out when we left our keys in the room by accident. We really appreciated his hospitality.

Scala is lovely and Ravello walkable If you are fit.
Scala is lovely and Ravello walkable If you are fit. The bus service to Amalfi and Ravello could be a little erratic. Having a car is more of a hinderance than a help. Restaurants and cafes are available. San Lorenzo Cathedral is worth a visit. They still use mules to deliver goods etc in the village. A very quaint town

There is only 1 restaurant and a pizzaria in the village.
There is only 1 restaurant and a pizzaria in the village. The shops are very basic but you should be able to get most things if you self-cater. It is easy to get to Ravello by bus (tickets must be purchased in advance from the "card shop"). Ideally you need your own transport as the terrain is very hilly. It is expensive to get to and from the airport by taxi.

Great little town, quite and off the busy Amalfi coast towns with a nice view. Having a car really helped. There was a great restaurant within a 20 minute walk of our B&B. You need to be in good shape to walk around, as very hilly.

Scala is quiet, authentic and charming, with beautiful views of Ravello and the Amalfi coast everywhere you go. There are a few decent café and restaurant options, mostly in the town center. This is a steep mountain village so having a car to go up and down the switchback slopes is highly recommended. Finding parking in the small town center was never an issue, not even in the middle of July.

Scala is a small, unspoilt town with several bars and restaurants on the main road. Further restaurants are dotted through the town, Zio Peppe was a great find up in the hills and Il Pinguino serve great food. Da Pietro snack bar in the town square has great views across the gorge and serves the best Aperol spritz.
If you want to explore further there is a great picnic area at Parco Paradiso, hidden high up in the hills, where you can bring your own food to cook on wood burning grills and pizza ovens with nothing but the sound of nature.
There is a regular bus service to Ravello and Amalfi and also a walking route down to Amalfi.
Parking spaces marked with blue are pay-parking.

Higher up the hill.
Higher up the hill. Little village with view at Ravello and the Amalfi Coast, enjoy living between the locals. Just at walking distance you find Restaurants serve local dishes. We eat at Ristorante Il Pinguino, delicious dishes and pizza. In the morning we took the dog for a walk and met the donkeys in the narrow alleys op hill where you find a beautiful view over the coastline.
Carla is an exceptional host. Friendly, communicative, flexible. The place is modern and clean with the room having everything you need close at hand. The jacuzzi is going 24/7 and when we were there it was empty most of the time and the view is amazing. Scala is quiet and after a day in Rome was a breath of fresh air. It’s also got a great super market with everything you need. Ravello is close by and the restaurant choices there are sublime. Breakfast is tops and the pool is clean and the nearby bar well priced.
The lady running the accommodation was very helpful and welcoming.
The hotel itself was situated in a lovely quaint area within walking distance of nice restaurants and a popular wedding venue in Ravello. The room had a large balcony with an exceptional view of the hills and sea, while avoiding the touristy chaos of Amalfi.
While I normally pick a more modern style of accommodation, the wooden beams and traditional bathroom suited the general feel of the area and created an authentic ambience.
Room is huge and modern, with ceramic decor typical of Amalfi Coast. Bathroom is big and modern with a spacious shower. Bed is really comfortable.
The hotel is nice and staff is hepfull and very gentle. Rooms have a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi gulf you hardly find in other accomodations. Same view is available in the breakfast area of the hotel.
Breakfast has a nice selection of both sweet and savory food.
The location and views were beautiful. the house is spacious, clean, and had everything. it is a quick walk into the heart of Ravello and to Scala. the property has a beautiful view of Ravello, is a minute to the bus ( for transportation to Amalfi/ other towns). the gardens were gorgeous with lemon/lime/orange trees. A great breakfast spread with fresh fruit/yogurt/cereals is laid out as well :):)
Great view from the balcony. The apt is close to a family restaurant where I ate everyday, excellent food & welcoming owners
The village Scala is charming. I walked over to Ravello 2 days to see the Municipal garden and the Cimbrone garden. I enjoyed seeing lemon groves and a lemoncello factory.
my 3 days in Scala was probably the most enjoyable part of my 3 week visit to Italy.
We had the best stayed in Italy this summer thanks to Albergo La Margherita. The Hotel is so beautiful with a very nice view. The staff was super friendly and attentive, specially Carla who helped us so much with our trip. The rooms were really cozy and comfortable, delicious breakfast and great location with a bus stop right next to the hotel.
Excellent view - one could oversee the whole of beautiful Ravello.
Very spacious.
Scala is a quiet and pretty small town close to the Amalfi coast. The place can only be reached by a steep and fairly long old stone stairway. So be aware. Also, don't mistake this place with the "San Lorenzo Villa".
Location is 5 minutes drive to Ravello, and 15 minutes to Amalfi town. The room was great value for money, with a wonderful view of Ravello, bathrooms had good amenities, breakfast was amazing. The restaurant for dinner is a must. The hotel staff is very helpful and welcoming. Parking is great.
Wonderful family run hotel in quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. Delicious home cooked meals made by Antonio's wife and mama which we would highly recommend. Friendly staff, very clean hotel with great pool area and patios. Perfect place to relax after a days sightseeing.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at hotel Zi'ntonio! The view from our room was incredible, the breakfast was delicious and very diverse, the staff was super helpful and gave us recommendations of places to see around Amalfi. I definitely recommend this place!
The Hotel is Beautiful ❤️ , the staff very helpful and Friendly , the hotel is very clean , in a quiet area , a beautiful small village In top of Amalfi
The little Plus is : for the courageous one , there is a stairs going down from the Hotel to Amalfi .
Lovely place to stay. We planned to stay 2 nights in the hotel that shares the same drive but they were full for the second night fortunately for us as San Lorenzo was way nicer and more comfortable. Sorry we didn't have the two nights there.
Everything! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Staff was amazing, view was breathtaking, breakfast was delicious, impeccable service and as clean as you could expect a place of this category to be. Simply amazing.
Rich breakfast, perfect location to reach Ravello, in front of hotel there is a small supermarket. bus station is 3 min away. Pharmacy is just around the corner. Car parking is free. Helpful staff! Highly recommended!
Nice family owned hotel. Comfortable and clean room, with amazing view. Antonio and the staff are great! Helping with everything. Breakfast was very good, with variety of choices and home made cakes.
The location is perfect, coupled with amazing staff at the restaurant and Walter is the best. They treated us like family and made our time in Scala special and memorable. The food is exceptional!!!
This was a perfect, quiet stay in Scala. The staff was excellent, food was incredible, and the views were beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
