Lovely traditional ryokan but well equipped with all the modern comforts. The owners have been kind enough to let us leave our luggage and use bicycles even after we checked out.

The mid point of the Shimanami Kaido and unfortunately we only stayed one night. This was an awesome hotel and if you are planning to do some more riding in the area it would be a very good base. We had dinner and breakfast included in the price and these were outstanding meals. Dinner was Robayaki cooked on the deck in front of our room and included Wagyu, Chicken, Shrimp and lots of veggies. Breakfast was fresh croissants, egg and bacon and salad with good coffee. The facilities are good and the view excellent. The staff were also excellent. We wish we had of stayed longer, but do intend to come back and do more cycling in the area.
