Very elegant Japanese style house. I had it to myself as no one else was staying. The breakfast was the most delicious wholefood bento from a local cafe. The bed was really comfortable. Very nice and quiet. It's kind of a nice combination of a luxurious atmosphere, excellent decor but with aspects of a budget hostel feel. (No private bathroom only showers). It would be nice in summer as there is a big tatami room with a view of the garden. This was the guest house annexe not the main loop hotel.

The room was big and many amenities were provided which I actually didn't expect. The owner was very nice and used a translator app to communicate with us. The breakfast included was very simple (toast and hard boiled egg) but not bad.

It is such a beautiful traditional looking Japanese home with an amazing bath. The host is the kindest man, and his smile and good energy was so kind. He picked us up also from the station and dropped us off! Very happy and grateful.
