Kerkrade is a very nice town in the south of the Netherlands. We visited nearby places like Heerlen and Vaals and we visited the Botanic Garden in Kerkrade. Of course we needed to buy the local cake: Vlaai. Especially the Cherry Vlaai was superb!

Hotel is located beside a football stadium. There was no game when I was there, but maybe noise or too many people could be a problem on game days.
