The canals, trees coming into bud, friendly City folk, good coffee and excellent transport links. The historic buildings and peaceful walk along the canal which loops around the City were very relaxing. We enjoyed the City Museum and the cafe in the Dom (Cathedral) is a tranquil place to be. If you are looking for a civilised and smaller version of Amsterdam you will enjoy a long weekend in Utrecht.

A vibrant yet chilled out place to visit.
A vibrant yet chilled out place to visit. Loved all the cafe and bars and small streets where you can meander and wander in and out of lovely shops. Some of our party went to the top of the bell tower, quite hard going but amazing views. We also visited the Roman ruins under the tower, very interesting and good fun. Also spent a leisurely hour and a half on a a canal river trip, highly recommended! Went to several restaurants, great, reasonably priced food and far too much good wine and beer. Would visit again in a heartbeat!

Really lovely place, have been here several times and love it more each visit. There's lots to see and places to eat and watch the world go by. As it has a University there are lots of students around which adds to its vibrancy. It's a strange mix of busy and quiet in parallel. Watch out for the bikes as you're in the Netherlands, this took a little getting used to but it does mean there are not so many cars which is lovely. Absolutely recommend a visit!

A lovely old town with boutique, vintage shops, and great bars and cafes plus a big shopping mall near the station for international brands and a lovely up-market department store. Live music in many places. Lots of walking but enjoyable!
We stayed in Utrecht for one night only and were traveling by train, so I was looking for a hotel near a railway station. If you're staying for a longer time, probably it makes sense to find something closer to the city center, though even from this hotel it was a 15-20 minute walk, and btw the railway station itself looks quite beautiful, so it wasn't a problem to walk through it. The hotel is very new, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were tidy and had quite good modern interior.
This is your standard, nice, new, quiet, IHG chain business traveler hotel, and the room is exactly what you'd expect from such a scenario. Two minute walk to either Utrecht Centraal or the city center with the canal. Location cannot be beat.
Obviously not much in the way of local charm, but that should be obvious from the location and photos. I was extremely pleased with my stay here, and got a great night sleep before my onward travel.
Step out of the hotel and you are surrounded by the streets, shops and cafes of Utrecht. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very smart and comfortable and everywhere was beautifully clean. The curtains are the best anywhere for blocking out light so you sleep well. The room was quiet because we were at the back (this did mean no view but was ok as we were just staying overnight). I really wish I could have stayed longer.
Great location if you are planning to explore both Utrecht and Amsterdam. The hotel is just a few steps from the central train station and right next to the old town of Utrecht. Also the excellent connection to Schiphol Airport.
The hotel staff is very professional and pleasant to communicate with. Breakfast was great. The hotel is in a large shopping centre, so if you like shopping - leave the hotel and start shopping.
We got two adjacent rooms which was great as we were travelling with children; the breakfast is very complete any staff very friendly and helpful. The area is nice, there are bars and restaurants close by and good connection with trains. It will take you 3 minutes to Utrecht Central and half an hour to Amsterdam central station. The hotel is also on walking distance from the city center.
The hotel is excellently located a few hundred metres away from Utrecht Central Station and as well as easy to connect to bus routes across the City. The food in the restaurant was good. We were also offered the benefit of not having to have our room serviced every day and were given a 30 euro voucher. Since we were staying in Utrecht for 8 nights this really made a difference.
The room facilities are very complete. The floor in the room has a sound-proof design. It is not easy to hear the sound of pushing suitcases or footsteps. The lights in the bed can be adjusted to different colors, and the curtains have a good light-proof effect! And this hotel is very close to Utrecht Centraal station! The service staff also serve very well)
Great small boutique hotel at the fringe of the historic walking district of Utrecht. The rooms were somewhat small, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was an individually portioned buffet type breakfast presented on a board for each guest. This was more than sufficient and very good.Staff was always available and very accommodating.
An excellent breakfast!
Excellent bedding...
Big room...
Very easy to manage tv programs...
I'll come back!
Bus C4-73 from utrecht Centraal. Trip duration:10'. DropStation:OorsprongPark. When you leave the bus, you continue in its direction until Willem Barentszstraat or Karel Doormanlaan, then turn left, then right, and here they are!
Even though the rooms had the standard hotel layout and size, they were very well decorated which made them feel luxurious. The breakfast area was spacious and nice to sit in too. The coffee machines work all day and at night too so you can count on a drink whenever you want. The location is great, in central Utrecht.
Fabulous hotel in the centre of Utrecht. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room itself was gorgeous and spacious, with high ceilings and a beautiful bathtub. A very unique decoration style that is a welcome change from the standard boring white hotel rooms.
A lovely place for a romantic evening.
I'd rate the location 11 out of 10 - it's the city centre, right in front of the central station, in the shopping mall where you can find everything. Several minutes walk to the Dom Tower. Room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. If I return to Utrecht, I'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel is really in the centre of Utrecht, directly next to the main station and the new shopping mall and you can walk directly into the old centre. We had a spa room, which had a whirlpool and sauna. It's a big room, clean, modern. The Whirlpool and Sauna where great to have in the room.
It's the best hotel. They always answered my questions politely. They also checked out recommended restaurant and told me. Thank you for making the bed and cleaning every day. Thank you for the delicious breakfast. Thank you to all the clew. If I come to Utrecht again, I will stay here.
Very good hotel next to the railway station in Utrecht and hence close to the city centre and transport. Rooms are spacious and there's a good and varies breakfast buffet. The breakfast room is large and even though it was busy there was always room to sit down.
The location of the hotel was around 5kms from Utrecht central. bus station is near to the station. but still you need to make a stroll to the hotel from the bus stop. Its better to take taxi. it will cost you 12 euros.
Staff were kind and easy to talk to , really helpful and professional. The location wasn’t to far from Utrecht station and the city centre . Facility’s and my room were incredible.
I liked this hotel a lot, even their basic room was fantastic. And they have an elevator which isn't very common in the city centre of Utrecht! Plus the room smelled amazing.
