The area around the hotel was perfect.
The area around the hotel was perfect. It was close to the office I needed to be at every day, close to some very great restaurants, and close to Fed Ex which I need to do some traveling office work. Frankly, this hotel in the area it is in is awesome. I strongly recommend the Flemingo Hotel to all that need to stay in the area of San Jose.

Food and services were expensive.
Food and services were expensive. I had paid $6 for a brownie from a nearby milk bar next to my hotel and I was prompted to tip for take away. Open air car park next to Westin San Jose was $25 to $30 per night.

San Jose is an expensive place for traveller if you don't have a job. It is not the right city for budget traveller, but it could be paradise for rich people. Stop having daydream, and finding a job is the best way to stay in San Jose.

It was a short stay in San Jose, like I said traffic is very busy. Alot of great restaurants near this hotel. They did have a bar with service for food, but nothing that I wanted. I wanted comfort food, something hot, besides a burger or tacos. Hotel Decor was really nice, if you enter after hours to get inside using other doors beside the front entry, guest must use their room key, great security for keeping unwanted people out. I did see Security walking the parking lot at night and security near the front entrance.

The room was nice but wasn't happy about being charged an extra $100.00 and not told up front that there will be an extra $100.00 because I requested a room downstairs because my brother is an handicap and cannot even go in an elevator due to his vertigo issue.
this was our last station in two week round-trip through California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. It was in a good distance to nice shopping places ( great mall Milpitas, Santana Row) in San Jose. Also near to a great breakfast place ( Bill’s Cafe Alameda) and close enough to SFO. And much better value for money compared to San Francisco. Although almost directly at Nimitz freeway 880, we didn’t really experience a noise issue. Yes you could hear the road but it was not too bad.
I love how the hotel is located in downtown very convenient and its safe on only hotel key to enter and use elevator. Staff is extremely nice! I felt welcomed and my room was clean. I also like how they have snacks and variety of drinks in fridge to buy which is helpful to not have to go to the store. I loved the view I had as well looking out the window.
Incredibly well-located, quality and stylish hotel in the heart of Downtown San Jose. I found myself needing a hotel late one weekday evening and Hotel De Anza went above and beyond my expectations. The view from my room was awesome--it gave me a whole new perspective on the town. I would absolutely stay here next time I come to town.
was gone all day, just slept there
excellent location between downtown San Jose and Santa Clara
multiple coffee places and restaurants nearby -- plus a most excellent used bookstore
on a busy intersection, but my room was quiet
easy access airport
nice person behind the front desk
The location was nice. On the border of Santa Clara and downtown San Jose, off the Alameda. But the restaurant/bar downstairs was a party and the actual hotel tenants were pretty loud. The room we stayed in was in a quieter part of the hotel so we weren’t too bothered by it.
Central location. Within walking distance to lots of attractions in downtown SJ. Free parking in lot at hotel. Cameras and a fence for a sense of security for your vehicle .Room had a refrigerator ( no freezer)and microwave . Room was spacious.
This apartment was two stories and had a lot of space ! I really enjoyed how big and how it really felt like home. The upstairs had a king bed and it was comfy. We were very close to downtown San Jose and we would definitely stay again.
Standard hotel, good for overnight, if using San Jose Airport, close to airport, good shuttle service. Would use again if using San Jose airport. Very convent, one block, to Joy Airport parking that has a 24 hour shuttle.
honestly the main reason i stayed here was the location. right in the heart of downtown san jose, the convention center is less than 5 minutes away and jsu is 5-10 min away. i guess the bed was pretty good too.
Staff was nice, rooms were clean and modern, breakfast was hot and fresh. Loved the size of the balcony in the one bedroom suite. I also loved how close it was to food and the airport
Great location to get downtown easily and have access to the freeway. The rooms were spacious and the wi-fi reliable, the workspaces on the lobby level worked well.
