William of course is a great little town or access to the Grand Canyon and of course the railway station for a train trip into the Grand Canyon. Plenty of eateries, taverns and gift stores. Real close to bearizona and(don't forget to check the Internet for discounts).

The Grand Canyon Train was a great excursion and would recommend it to anyone interested in visiting the Grand Canyon area from the south rim, but I would DEFINITELY DISUADE everyone from lodging at that property.
I personally would NEVER, EVER stay at that hotel again so long as I am breathing.
I hope you can garner my(our) extreme dissatisfaction with this property in particular.

This quiet and quirky town is loacted an hour from the South Rim Trail of the Grand Canyon.
We stayed at the Highlander Motel which is only a short distance walk to some great local resturants and bars, gas stations and grocery stores.
We ate at the Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe, I highly rate the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwhich and the atomosphere was that of a true diner.
The locals are great and I hope any one who vists, enjoys Williams as much as I did!

Friendly staff and cute property with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Super accommodating and easy to find with attractions and places to eat within a 3 to 15 minutes drive depending on which business you chose to visit. It is also about an hours (1hr) drive away from the Grand Canyon. Was a relaxing and fun experience.

Williams is a great little historic town A lot of great eating options and the gateway to the Grand Canyon. The pizza place/brewery is great and the Pine Breakfast Restaurant is amazing. The Route 66 Diner has great service but the food is meh. I wish we had more time to spend in actual Williams and walk around to all of the fun shops!

Williams is a quaint little town but still has plenty to do and great food! Bearizona is always a must and right up the street, and there’s also the coaster and shooting range for fun entertainment. It’s also a great location for many beautiful Poot ions within driving range from the Grand Canyon to Sedona, Jerome, and Flagstaff.
My daughter and i roadtripped to the Grand Canyon from Florida with every intention of mixing Route 66 in. I chose the Highlander because it fit what I wanted. ON Route 66 was very important as well as old style motor hotel. I looked at as many pics as I could, and the outdated but clean feel is what I wanted. Fit the bill perfectly! Old style feeling but not in disrepair. Had the time of our lives. The town of Williams was Route 66 to a T.
The position of the hotel at one end of Williams meant it was easy to walk into the town at night to get a meal. It was the opposite end of town to Safeway but it was also easy enough to walk there ( about 15 minutes )on the pavements along the main part of town. Clean comfortable rooms which were serviced each day. Easy drive of about an hour into the Grand Canyon.
Friendly staff, pool and jacuzzi available, close to the old town of Williams (gift shops, restaurants,...). First impression of the street was a little questionable but turned out to have a good vibe. An hour from Grand Canyon NP, close to Bearizona. Breakfast included (with pancake maker, great change from all the 'toast' breakfasts we've had so far).
We came into town to go on the Polar Express making The location excellent with it only being a five minute drive from the hotel. (Don't spend the extra money on the grand canyon hotel- not worth it). The room was a good size, comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly.
This hotel was in the perfect location and was extremely beautiful and well appointed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Williams. It is only been open a short time so we were one of the first guest. We spoke to the owner and he told us his plans for the future And it sounds amazing
Good hotel, staff were really good. Used the Pool (no changing facilities or shower in pool area). All good apart from not walking distance to Williams town centre. Really liked Williams as a place to chill, have a beer, shop and eat - and a good base for G Canyon, about 50 mins easy drive.
Went to Grand Canyon for quick weekend getaway with family. Decided to stay in Williams. Very cute, small town feel. Hotel was great location. Updated rooms considering the old town feel. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the view of forest outside bathroom window.
We selected the Hotel because it was part of a package to visit the Grand Canyon. It was well situated for the station and local restaurants. The room was quiet. The railway trip and Grand Canyon eclipsed the hotel's shortcomings.
Authentic country style accommodation on Route 66. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Everything Williams has to offer, restaurants, shops etc just a short walk away. All about Route 66 here
The location of the hotel was good, about one hour from the Grand Canyon and very close to restaurants and shops in Williams. Breakfast was simple, but handy when leaving early in the morning. Beds were very comfortable.
The inn is wonderful! It's sweet, comfortable, and has lots of old west charm. The location is perfect for wandering around Williams and as a stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. I hope to stay again soon!
Well we stayed in Williams to travel to thr Grand Canyon National Park. The location of the hotel. They provide complimentary coffee and hot chocolate which is great after a cold day.
The location of the hotel was only a short safe walk into Williams and was easily located just of the highway. There was the option to have breakfast in the hotel at a fair price.
Great experience sleeping in an RV for the first time
Good location right off Hwy and very near Williams.
Friendly staff at check in.
Would stay again when in Williams.
Loved the apartment! It was perfect for our family of 5, and very comfortable. It’s location right on Route 66 put us in walking distance for everything in Williams.
