We loved the property and accommodation within. Our host was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were immaculately presented, very clean and nicely decorated. Couldn’t be better

The room is situated actually directly inside / above the stable so the view from both windows (one on each side) as directly into the stable with lots of horses. We were allowed to see the horses and were even offered to try some horse milk at the breakfast. It is worth an experience!

Maldegem has all that you really need, nice restaurants, A la Carte and Fast food, supermarkets, petrol stations as well. Not much in the way of shopping that we could see but probably just didn't find them!
A lovely quirky place. Karel met us on arrival and explained everything. The rental is a converted loft on Karel's cider and vineyard and included a bottle of his own cider with on arrival which was very welcome. Maldegem town is about 40 mins walk away - quite a busy road but v straight forward and was easy to catch a bus to Brugges for a day sightseeing. Really not sure why some reviews complain about lack of breakfast as the rental is just for the room which was well equipped and perfect for our needs.
Lovely staff, excellent service, beautiful location, warm and cozy atmosphere, interesting backstory of the property, good lasagne (we ate at the hotel, not the restaurant), Ingeborg went above and beyond, was fun to talk with and gave us some nice suggestions regarding activities for our next stay. My husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay.
The house is comfortable and very cosy !
The garden is really nice too. And we could park a few meters from the house in a private parking, that was very practical.
The house is located in the nice city center of Maldegem, and a lot of shops, bars and restaurants are located closed. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Liesbeth !
Very comfortable, modern and clean hotel. Our room was upgraded to a family suite which was a lovely surprise. Safe parking on site, great breakfast and lovely staff. We used this hotel as a convenient stopover en route home and only 1.5 hrs from the euro tunnel. We would use again.
I had an incredibly pleasant stay at this hotel. The room exceeded my expectations, offering remarkable comfort. The staff's friendliness added a delightful touch to the experience. The overall value for what you receive is truly amazing. I highly recommend this establishment.
We chose the hotel because it was on our route, but it definitely is worth a special trip !!!
we had dinner at a restaurant on site which was exceptional and breakfast had a great selection for every taste. Our granddaughter simply did not want to leave…
Breakfast was fantastic, the staff were super friendly, parking was good and plenty of room, hotel
Is situated in a really nice rural location but not too far from local amenities
Loved the small scale hotel. It’s clean, the beds are great. The breakfast was lovely. It’s close to both Gent (20 mins) and Antwerp (35 mins) by car. Highly recommendable❤️
