The room "breathes" history, a quiet place as asked, and together with the excellent matres, a non disturbed sleep was guaranteed. In the morning welcomed by lady Lucie and a delicious breakfast ( buffet and menu) is served. I cant imagine a better place to stay, to explore the region and to return after an interesting day at this historical city. I'm sure I will return!

This is exactly what all hotels should aspire to - probably our favourite hotel in the world. Staff are all perfect - helpful but not over bearing - hard when not talking your first language, the rooms are classy without being pretentious, the food and beer are top rate. We first stayed here 'by accident' in 2006 and needed to come back to confirm what we thought then. Oh - and the town is pretty good as well.

The location is great - at the well-kept historic centre, which is alive (not an open-air museum). In a walking distance, there are a museum, gallery, a nature park with a cascade of lakes, playgrounds for children etc.

The house is from 16th century and you can indeed feel a touch of history there. The personnel was helpful, breakfast very good and price reasonable. The room was perfectly clean and silent.
