A gracious and charming historic building, with a good restaurant and very attentive service, in a rather special setting. The staff couldn't have been nicer.

Very nice place, with a wonderful view and a hiking trail right next to it. It's fun living in a castle, even if it's just a hostel room. The outdoor terrace in the castle is amazing. Very helpful receptionist. We left early so she organized breakfast boxes for us. Thanks, the food was tasty!

Pretty cottage in a small village very close to the castle of Hruba Skala. We had access to a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a cellar containing local wines. There was also a big garden outside. IT would be a lovely place for a family to spend a relaxing week walking the local paths and visiting castles.

We had no trouble to find it, tired and hot after a long hike, we refreshed in the pub's garden. Amazing! We booked a table for the evening and had a simple meal, tasty pizza, with nice wine. Service for very attentive.
The room was great, with 2 large roof windows, comfy beds and a hot shower.

We liked everything - very wide and comfortably equipped accommodation, safe parking place, rich and tasty breakfast and very, very kind and helpful host! Very good to have tasty dinner and drinks in the same premise. A pleasure to stay here!
Lovely countryside and very photogenic.
Not much commercial activity and definitely not for anyone wanting nightlife.
There is a wellness centre at the hotel but we didn't use it so cannot comment.

The area is absolutely stunning and quite rightly called the Bohemian Paradise. Loads of routes for long hikes as well as casual walks. The views are breathtaking and the nature wild and beautiful.
On the other hand it does go a bit dead off-season. You will need to pack a snack and cancel the hopes for having a nice draft pint halfway to your set destination. Also, the public transport will be very limited so either plan ahead or prepare your muscles. Unless you drive, leave your wheeley suitcase at home and get yourself a hiking backpack!

The breakfast was amazing, access to hiking with kids and car based trips around the area was great.Lots of great places to see!
The mattress choice was poor. Shared bathrooms for boys need some maintenance.
A beautiful cottage close to Hruba Skala. The cottage is absolutely beautiful inside and has everything you need oven, stove and a great little wood burner. The beds are very comfortable, sleeping is a dream here. There is a big grill outside for barbecues. Other cottages are around but you hardly notice them or hear them. Many places around are perfect for hikes and walks. Nearby there's also a traditional Czech restaurant. The owner is great and will do everything for you to make your stay comfortable. Great trip!
Spacious, comfortable apartment with all amenities and the possibility of various extras such as laundry. Nice quiet location not far from Hruba Skala castle, with a beautiful footpath beginning right nearby. Near a convenience store, a bit worse for restaurants within short walking distance but there are some (didn’t try them though). Nice hosts too. If you need cash you need to prepare in advance of arrival as there doesn’t seem to be any ATM within walking distance
Lovely place at the edge of the little village, excellent place to start your walk towards Hruba Skala or other nearby trails. Beautiful and peaceful garden to enjoy breakfast or simply read a book. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to make a nice breakfast or even dinner if you'd like. Outside is a barbecue that you can use, but we went to the nearby pub/restaurant instead. Very friendly host, I would recommend to stay here.
EA Zamecky Hotel Hruba Skala is an old castle in a remarkable park of rock formations, deep crevices and tall trees. Our room on the second floor had a very high ceiling, squeaky wooden floors and a view out over the countryside. The breakfast was excellent. Parking is available but is limited and should be booked in advance. This property really has character. We'll be returning with family members.

The room and the unique location of the hotel were great! It was clean and the staff was also ok. But the other facilities, namely the restaurant, were not what you'd expect from such a place. The meal was not great and the breaskfast buffet was adequate, not very good.
we loved it ! we were only a night there. beautiful apartment, very comfortable beds, good wifi. the host was very nice and helpful. gave us very good tips about hiking around hruba skala. we are very greatful for that! definitely recommend!
Location was outstanding and the view from our room wonderful. There was easy access to hiking some of the most beautiful trails in the Cesky Raj region. The breakfast was plentiful, and the terrace restaurant was excellent.
A very nice hotel in a beautiful building in the Bohemian paradise. A good breakfast was included and we used the "menu" dinner every night, which consisted of 3 course traditional czech dinner for a really good price.
Just WOW! one of the best and amazing place i ever stayed, its real castle atmosphere and experience not comparable to any 5 stars hotels. The view and the breakfast were well beyond my expectations.
Convenient and classy location to explore Hrubá Skála from. Outstanding staff, especially at reception. Beautiful area, and the view from the room is incredible.
