A Year-Long Party
The undisputed Tenerife party capital, Playa de las Américas is a year-round resort of sun, sand and sizzling nightlife. At the foot of volcanic mountains stretching up to Mount Teide, its long beach is comprised of imported golden sand. Tenerife’s natural beaches – such as that in northern Puerto de la Cruz – are actually black sand.
Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje neighbouring Playa de las Américas also have golden beaches, and all are lapped by warm, turquoise waters. Watersports are a popular activity, and the area boasts Siam Park with its hair-raising waterslides, rapids and a host of swimming pools. There’s even a wave pool where you can surf!
Outdoor pools are also found in the Playa de las Américas accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star resorts, cheap hotels and self-catering apartments. Aqualand has yet more flumes and pools, as well as a dolphinarium.
Dolphins and whales can also be spotted from boat trips along the coast. Other activities include Golf Las Américas, the Canaries’ largest golf course.
However, it’s what happens after dark that’s the biggest draw. The Patch complex has family-friendly bars with food, while the bars, clubs and casinos of the Starco shopping centre and Verónicas strip only really kick in at after midnight.

the golden mile was good playa del camison was good though lacked public toilets,far too many street peddlars who interrupted your meals,and refused to take no for an answer,and my brother was robbed by 2 black men on the 1st. day there in day light by playa de las vistas.sad to say the 9 day stay had very little sun.

I spent a week in Teneriffe, I travelled with my sister so we had a bed room each. it could easily sleep 4 - 5 people.The apartment was a perfect location, access to everything and still very private. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Lots of space outside to sit out and enjoy the evenings. Washing machine means you dont have to bring alot of clothes with you, We really enjoyed our stay in Teneriffe Pearl and would definately go back again.MaryIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Touristy but very good promenade for walking. Quiet at night. Beach near Parque Santiago III not suitable for swimming, good for surfing. Not normally my choice of destination but enjoyed the hotel pool, garden, room and location.

I have been visiting the Island for over 30 years and I have never had a bad visit. Siam Park is a must!!!! Best bar is the Brahms and Liszt on the Parque de la paz strip fabulous place with the best staff on the island Best restaurants are Little Italy Pompeii, Vegas grill and Pier 8. We normally stay in Adeje but because of the steep hills that are unavoidable decided to try Las Americas. We were last there in the 90s and were pleasantly surprised how upmarket it has become. Obviously lots of investment has been made and we have rebooked our holiday for next year.

Several perfect sandy or rocky beaches, walking distance form one each other....The place is filled with nice restaurants, bars and terraces; The location is a paradise for family and non-kids alike! As a family we spent also amazing times with kids in both water parks available (free busses to the location) zoo and delfinario!AdrianFinland

Watching the sunset while sitting on the balcony was mesmerizing and so beautiful. Would highly recommend getting a room with a sea side view. The staff was amazing and kind, when there was an issue they resolved it as soon as possible. Although the manger there needs to find another work to do, as he did not seem as welcoming as the other staff members - luckily I had little interactions with that person.

The balcony is brilliant and the view is amazing. The location is very central to all you need in Playa de las Americas. Micheal welcomed us on arrival and he was extremely helpful. This was the best stay we had in Tenerife.
