This was a really good place to stay! I expected "budget" accommodations because of the name, but the room was large and clean, with good lighting. The bed was large and comfortable, with big pillows. There were plenty of clean, good-quality towels. I was truly surprised at the quality of the room. And it was only a 2-minute walk from Lyon Part-Dieu Station. I was only there for one night but wished I had been staying longer.

Great location, great and very helpful personnel, tasty breakfast with a lot of options (even warm potatoes and smashed eggs). Our child got a welcome pocket with small surprise and also enjoyed a kids zone in a lobby. There is a TV in the lobby showing departs from the Part-Dieu railway station.

Located in central Lyon, Mercure Lyon Centre Saxe Lafayette is 15 minutes' walk from Part-Dieu TGV Train Station. It offers free high-speed WiFi access and a fitness room with an indoor swimming pool.... Location was very good, easy to access by car and there’s a parking place in front of the hotel, valet parking service was available which was so comfortable. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. No worries at all. After checking out, we wanted to go to have lunch, so we asked the staff if we could leave our luggage with them, and when we returned to the hotel, they had already put our car out in front of the hotel, which was very touching.

Located 300 metres from Part-Dieu Train Station, the hotel features an on-site bar & restaurant with panoramic views of Lyon from the 32nd floor of the iconic Part Dieu Tower. Really close to the station and Westfield but also a short walk to the old town where a lot of the action is. As you would expect, all the amenities are there and the standard is high.
