The location is perfect as there is a metro right in front of the hotel. You can easily walk to la casa de musica and also there is a roundabout near the hotel with a pastry shop every step you make. Also the hotel is very clean.

Location - city center is easily accessible by public transport / walk Small shopping mall close by, attached to a food market with many options Staff was wonderful - courteous and knowledgeable. Situated on Porto’s Avenida da Boavista, Portus Cale Hotel offers bright, air-conditioned rooms and a daily buffet breakfast. The Douro Riverfront is just 2 km from the hotel. The room was big, with a comfortable bed, new furniture, and good wi-fi connection. That’s all I was needed for my staying here. The breakfast was good enough, it costs 10 euros. Location is great, the district is safe, but it’s a bit far from the very city centre. There is a food market Mercado Bom Sucesso located close to the hotel.

Standing tall in a commercial area of Porto’s Boavista district, HF Fénix Porto is 400 metres from Casa da Musica concert hall. It features free Wi-Fi throughout and spacious rooms with cable TV. Good location easy for the old city taxi only 6 euro. Helpful staff could not fault the place and would definitely stay again if visiting Porto again.

This is a large but personal hotel out of the centre of the busy area but close enough to walk to the tourist areas and old Porto. Restaurants can be found close by including a very good seafood restaurant.
