Frederick Hotel sijaitsee Lower Manhattanin alueella vain 500 metrin päässä New Yorkin kaupungintalosta ja sen puistosta. Hotellista on vain lyhyt kävelymatka September 11 Memorial & Museum -alueelle.... Excellent location. Room size was adequate. Staff very helpful. Bed comfortable.

Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown sijaitsee TriBeCan alueella Manhattanilla, alle 700 metrin päässä kuuluisalta Brooklynin sillalta ja Seaport Districtin viehättävältä ranta-alueelta. My stay was pleasant and staff was courteous. On request, they have extended the check out time as well and definately will recommend others as well.

City Hall Park -puisto on 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä hotellilta. Smyth sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla Chambers Streetin kulmassa osoitteessa 85 West Broadway, Tribecan sydämessä. Smyth is in a fantastic location and the rooms are impressively clean and comfortable. The staff are outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful - everything you could ask for! Smyth Tribeca is our go-to hotel when we visit NYC. Highly recommend!

This 4-star New York City hotel is in the Tribeca neighborhood, across the street from trendy SoHo shopping. It offers guest rooms, a 24-hour gym and a restaurant. The position of the hotel is ideal: it’s located along Canal Street, which is one of the most important main street of Downtown Manhattan; almost every Metro line of Manhattan has a stop, called “Canal Street”, near or not far from the hotel: so, the hotel is very well served; another positive aspect of the location of the hotel is that it’s located near Tribeca, Nolita and Soho districts; in particular, Soho is, a quarter full of life (restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.); in addiction, the building of the hotel is bordering with the Postal Office. From outside to inside, the hotel has rooms with an amazing view, looking on the Empire State Building; it has a lounge (21st floor) with roof terrace, in which you can have your breakfast. The rooms are very well cleaned and large enough with an elegant shower box; the staff is kind and polite: my wife and me have been helped by a young concierge, Wilmar, who solved a problem for us: we arrived in hotel early in the morning after a night flight. Of course, the room was not ready for check-in but Wilmar let us to use the restrooms and to have a breakfast in the lounge on the roof terrace.

Surrounded by art galleries and shops in the lively Tribeca neighbourhood of lower Manhattan, this hotel offers TV and free Wi-fi Rooms at Sonder l Duane Street are furnished with hardwood floors, and... Let's be honest. New York is not a cheap city to visit. You either pay an arm and a leg for central accommodation, you sacrifice quality, or you move way out into the suburbs. Thankfully, Sonder Duane Street meant we didn't have to compromise much at all. Reasonably priced (compared to other central Manhattan properties), Sonder is centrally located and super easy to get anywhere else either by foot, subway or bus. It's clean, cosy and the staff could not be any friendlier or more accommodating. From the moment we phoned from abroad to ask questions before booking, to the warm greetings each day, they are an absolute credit to the hotel. Furthermore, the lobby 'bar' is a nice common area to get fresh water, pack bags or chill out before or after a long day. While the rooms are not serviced daily (you can request this at extra charge), staff are more than happy to send fresh towels on request and as you're more than likely to be spending all day out and about, it doesn't take much effort to keep your room tidy ;) Some other reviews have mentioned traffic/subway noise, however we didn't really notice it. Plus, you're in the middle of one of the biggest urban areas in the world, so have to expect that! Our room was well-designed with a comfortable bed, good shower, hairdryer, iron + board and a small fridge to stash our craft beer and wine finds. Importantly, the wi-fi was also pleasantly fast and reliable. It was summer when we visited, and the room temperature was absolutely fine throughout. Following our experience, there is honestly not a single negative thing that we can say about the property and we won't hesitate to book once again whenever we make it back to magnificent New York. The only 'suggestion' I'd make is that stays of 5+ nights might avail one free room cleaning on a day of their choice, but this is hardly a big deal.
