This place exceeded by far our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we went back in time. This boutique hotel is decorated with very very good taste, with antiques and lovely traditional items. The place is quiet, even though it is located in the medina, very close to the big mosque. The room, although not very large, was decorated in the same manner, creating a sense of peacefulness. We were welcomed by Ahmed, who was very friendly and helpful. When we return to Tunis, we will definitely stay in El Patio!

Very easy walk into the souk, and is in a peaceful quiet street. The traditional architecture is very pleasant to sleep in. The staff were helpful, we got advice for restaurants and tips of how to get to the airport. The hotel is only a short walk from the taxi street as the road isn't accessible by car. The rooms are lovingly adorned and the property is very clean. Breakfast was simple but nice, served in the covered courtyard downstairs.
