Villa Mimosa was absolutely delightful. Marie and Hugues were exceptional hosts, warmly welcoming us upon our late arrival, ensuring we still had time to have a swim in the pool. The bed was incredibly comfortable with good a/c to keep us cool. The shower was excellent and the outdoor seating area was a real treat!

The locations , environment , beautiful view and the super nice friendly generous owners Sylvie and François. Stayed there for four nights. Wish I could stay longer. They gave me very useful information about the hiking and bus schedule even offered me a ride to Saint Louis to take the bus to Cilaos and pick me back. The day I was leaving for some reason the bus didn’t show up. François even drove me to Saint Louis to take the bus to Saint Denis. Very kind and thoughtful. I am so glad I could stayed there and have a wonderful travel memory with them in my life. Definitely 100% recommend their place. You won’t regret. Wish some day they can come to Taiwan be my guests.😄😄😄..btw.. they do have Wi-Fi and super fast. . If you travel by bus like me.. the bus stop in front of their house is “4 Chemin Dejean”.

A very comfortable room with all the comforts of home but never giving the impression of not having enough personal space. A substantial breakfast served outside, varied each morning, with fresh ingredients, all presented with a style seldom found when travelling on a budget. As someone who normally stays in hotels, I found the owners Corinne and Gilles could not have been more accommodating and made a short business trip very pleasant. A bed and breakfast facility could give the idea of not having enough privacy, but Corinne and Gilles knew exactly how to make one feel welcome and to be able to unwind after a busy day.

We couldn't have done better! Super friendly, kind and helpful landlords. Excellent rooms, parking, patio. We were invited to use the kitchen and we felt integrated in a local's life in the French way which we have enjoyed a lot. The location is the perfect starting point for hiking and other activities in the south. Everything you need is around, bakery/coffee shop, supermarket, pharmacy. The accomodation was in very good shape, very good beds, a big bathroom, air conditioner. We absolutely recommend! You should however be able to speak a little bit of French...

Offrant une vue sur la montagne, La rose des Bois propose un hébergement avec un jardin et une terrasse, à environ 14 km de la Saga du Rhum. Si vous cherchez l'authenticité d'une maison typiquement créole. Cette maisonnette est idéal et exceptionnelle. Elle se trouve à moins de 4 km de quelques grandes villes comme St Louis et de la Rivière St Louis. La Rivière Fleure jaune (qui coule depuis Cilaos passe à moins de 100 mètre de la maison). On peut s'y rendre à pied le soir , pour s'y rafraichir. L'accueil y est simple et agréable. Le soir lorsque le ciel est dégagé, on peut apprécié les étoiles. On peut y voir beaucoup d'oiseaux endémiques de l'ile. L'ilet Furcy est à l'entrée de la route des 400 virages qui mène au cirque de Cilaos. Dans cette ilet on peut découvrir l'art des tailleurs de pierres.
