Situated in the centre of Liestal, Kulturhotel Guggenheim is 50 metres from the Liestal Wasserturmplatz bus stop. It offers individually furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi. Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

Breakfasts and dinner were very good even if the later was a bit expensive for us UK residents! Alexandia was extremely helpful in arranging transport on Easter Monday for the four of us before we we had arrived and her mother went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and a success. Would highly recommend this Gasthaus for its service and warm welcome.

Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedding and towels. Staff very friendly and helpful. And the free water/ beer/ coffee and fruit was a bonus!

The Baslertor is conveniently located in Muttenz, just outside Basel and is clean, comfortable and especially quiet. The bus stop to downtown Basel - 20 minutes - is just outside the door so, you can stay in a nice hotel with a great value and get to anywhere in the area.
