Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. This was a random pick for us on way back to Dublin airport. It was an unexpected beautiful drive as well as an unexpected beautiful setting that was our place of stay! Would highly recommend if you are on a self drive through the countryside

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Clean and well maintained. Dinner was spectacular really enjoyed the atmosphere. Just walk and enjoy the architecture and nature! This stay is a gem! The facility is beautiful, the breakfast is wonderful, the staff is very friendly. Beds are very comfortable and the room is very spacious and well appointed. I just picked this place randomly for one night on my way back to the Belfast airport. What a wonderful surprise it was! Highly recommend this property to everyone staying in the area

On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. one of the best hotel I have ever been so far.Excellent customer service.Everyone works in hotel so sweet,friendly and professional.Lovely,quite,spotless clean rooms.And excellent spa and gym.The best breakfast and chef in whole Ireland who certainly deserve michelines stars.I really enjoy every second there.Thank you for all.Ten stars stay.

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. I have to give a HUGE praise to the staff. They are so naturally welcoming, kind and accommodating. You just feel this friendly atmosphere around. Nothing is ever a problem.

The spa with a large heated outdoor pool There are bathrobes in every room - no need to change in a busy changing room as you put on your swimming costume and bathrobe in your room and walk to the spa. In addition, the rooms had large very comfortable beds.
