A beautiful secluded location with choices of several sandy beaches which were effectively private. The decent-sized room had a great view of the sea. Real tasty meals - we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The real selling point were the staff - they were the most human and humble people we met during our trip to Japan. They make this boutique hotel very special. So friendly and helpful.

The BREAKFAST HOTEL PORTO Ishigakijima está en Isla Ishigaki, a 25 km de Mirador de Tamatorizaki y a 3,3 km de Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave. Loved the "happy hour" every afternoon. They had options of juice for non-drinkers which was appreciated, on top of the regular coffee machines. Hotel was very conveniently located and we chose it on recommendation from our dive shop, Prime Scuba. Room was spacious and I was very grateful for the washing machine and drying rack. We did not require the daily room cleaning as we only stayed 2 nights, but we did see the cleaning staff everyday diligently working on other rooms. If you use the bus it's only a few minutes walk around the corner from the hotel, otherwise the hotel has parking available for your car. I do not know if there's an additional fee as my husband and I mainly took taxis. The front reception was always very helpful in helping us call for a taxi. Would highly recommend this hotel.
