Great location, easy access, near to the food street, markets, metros, and bus. They had a nice lounge to relax at the evening with some food and drinks at our convenience. Rooms were big, staff was very friendly, great english and food was good. The price at the time was very good for everything we got!! Definitely would stay there.

It was spacious and very clean (big enough to accomodate two big open suitcases). The lobby staff all spoke English. The baths were also spacious and clean. Every floor has a vending machine which is also awesome. When it was time to leave the staff took care of measuring our luggage and filling out the form to send our luggage to our next hotel. When I lost my credit card and it was found by the police, the staff called my room and let me know then they printed out a map and gave me clear instructions on where to go to get it back. All in all, my stay here was very plesant and me and my spouse intend to stay with them again in the future.

The location is great-- close to Keihan Shijo station and other bus stations. Walkable to Gion & other attractions. Convenient stores nearby & you can walk along the small breek in a good weather. The room is very spacious and nicely set up too. I particularly loved the amenities. The staff is super friendly and helped a lot with our questions. Everything was great!

Everything starting with the location can take 5 min walking bus to almost everywhere, and almost most of the shrines are 15-20 min walk from that side even the famous Starbucks in an antique Japanese house. Second the personal is really nice and top service. I asked for a special occasion plan (honeymoon) and they gave me surprise with petals and 2 swans and a beautiful written message Furthermore, you can rent bicycles or use 24/7 electrical bicycle station with an app (coyicogi) near the hotel The food of the restaurant and the bakery were awesome my wife loved the pasta and the beagle blueberry chocolate and cheese The laundry excellent you don’t have to wait for people to finish after 5 min if no one comes you can ask the staff to pick them up, and if you want to go out you can leave them washing and pick them once you return from reception so you don’t loose time waiting. The hotel even gave us adapters, flat iron curler my wife was in love with 100% recommended hotel

Fantastic location, helpful staff, great amenities, gorgeous room. Convenient coin laundry. This room had everything I could’ve asked for and a wonderful bath if we could have spent our entire stay in Japan in this room but also seen all of the other cities we travelled to that would’ve been the best of both worlds.

The hotel is very well located, close to Shijo subway station where you can reach Kyoto main station and all places to visit. It's also in front of main shopping galleries and Nishiki market. Only 9 min walk to Pontocho area and the begining of Gion area. The hotel as well as the room are very clean. Beds are comfortable. You can have access to a selfservice laundry (price is fair) which is convenient. The staff is very nice, helpful and professional. We stayed 3 nights plus 2 nights after a 2 nights trip to Nara. They kept our luggages while we were in Nara. I fully recommend.

Ideally set in Kawaramachi, 2 km from Yasaka Shrine, Hotel Musse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Meitetsu is situated 700 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.1 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum and 1.3... The location is great. The room condition is superb. I'm amazed that the room is spacious enough for me to fully open my luggage.

The hotel location was very very good. Facility is good too but I had too many itinerary that I didnt have enough time to try all of them
