Great hospitality, unsurpassable sea views from bedroom, bus station pick up/drop off were all above and beyond my expectations having stayed in cookie cutter hotels prior and after my visit.

I chose this hotel due to its location next to the trail head of rausu dake and I am super happy that I did that! The hotel is a cultural experience! Everything was perfect. The onsen was magnificent, the food was so diverse and of local products, and the tatami room was beautiful. They even offered a pepper spray against bears for my hike. To be honest, I can't share the opinion of the others that the hotel is too expensive. Instead I'd say you get more then what you pay!

Very pretty on the outside, very pretty on the inside! Comfortable, cozy interior spaces, whether its the common area, a bunk or your very own studio. Everything was immaculate and the breakfast was delicious and filling.

Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko is a 10-minute drive from Shiretoko National Park, which is assigned as a UNESCO World Heritage. Our best stay in Japan so far. We stayed three nights and enjoyed exquisite breakfasts and dinner, each one of them different. Personnel on-site created a family environment and helped us with our limited proficiency in Japanese witht their mastery of English. The private spa was greatly appreciated. Excellent base to explore the region.

Located in Shimatokkari in the Hokkaido region, Tezukuri Cottage Mauranarani - Vacation STAY 49824v features accommodation with free private parking. Every single nook and cranny showed the creative of the designer. Absolutely fascinating! There's even a pinball machine built into the wall. Wow. The kitchen was the most well-equipped one with everything well-thought out and considered. You can really tell the effort put in by the host and family. Everyone loved the projector Tv and wished we could have spent more time here. The host was very nice communicative too. Would love to stay here again and use the outdoor patios next time.

Everything worked smoothly. Plenty of space, much bigger than most Japanese hotel rooms! Very good internet too.
