Located in the South of Morocco, Palais du Désert and Spa is a luxurious castle-style hotel at the gates of Erfoud and close to the palmgrove. It was my birthday and the hotel staff was all wonderful in making my stay at this hotel very special. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was nicely located just by the desert. We had dinner and the food was great, with a surprise birthday cake prepared for me, which was so heartwarming. I highly recommend this hotel.

Kasbah Mohayut is in a peaceful setting at the foothills of the high dunes of Merzouga. It is the perfect choice to combine relaxation, authenticity and adventure. The Kasbah Mohayut is ideally located next to the Erg Cherbi, your desert playground full of adventures. The property is laid out as a walled compound with common facilities in the middle -indoor and outdoor restaurants, bar, terrace overlooking the dunes, beautiful pool and outdoor lounge areas- and rooms on the outside. The architecture is based on traditional adobe Kasbah and features beautiful patios with bougainvilliers bushes and rose beds. All of the property looks and feels exactly like its online pictures: full of charm and traditional berber architecture. Th outdoor dining area is divided up into charming small nooks separated by plants, flower beds, and gazebos, making for charming meals -which are well prepared and tasty. The large pool is luminous (although quite cold in November) and is surrounded with loungers and semi-private spaces that ensure that everyone can enjoy this beautiful space without feeling crowded in. The rooms are large and very clean featuring separate shower rooms (with plenty of hot water). Altogether a highly enjoyable stay -we will definitely come back.

The property was beautiful. Completely renovated, the facilities were excellent. Pool was so nice. The staff was amazing, so accommodating and friendly. We arrived as a short overnight stay on our way to Merzouga. This was the perfect place to stay to break up the drive from fez. The rooms were so nice, the bar was stocked and open, and dinner was delicious. Breakfast was also included and was great. Wonderful place to stay, especially for the price. We couldn’t find anything similar in the area. Highly recommended Hotel! The bar was full, they had wine and beer and cocktails. Rooms were clean, the bathroom was very nice and the showers were great. It was good to have room to stretch out. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff, they were very friendly, helpful and easy going!

This hotel is absolutely perfect. It was my first time there and my second time for my partner. It was perfect. We arrived in Hassilabied in the evening, our coach was delayed but Hassan was messaging us throughout our journey and was there to meet us when the coach finally arrived. We absolutely loved the location and our stay. There was dinner ready for us when we arrived, and the staff were friendly and caring, which was lovely and welcoming. We were supposed to stay for one night only but we decided to stay an extra night. The next morning, we had a delicious traditional breakfast on the terrace with the most beautiful view of the desert dunes. Absolutely breathtaking. During the day we relaxed by the pool, walked around the small village and had lovely conversations with the locals. In the evening we had an amazing dinner with so much food, including tajine and a perfect berber omelette. The internet connection was good and enabled us to watch the World Cup football match which was very exciting. We will definitely be coming back and staying there again. We cannot thank everyone enough for how well and caring they were. This place now feels like home to us. Thank you!

Loved EVERYTHING!!! The place is a boutique hotel in the middle of the dunes. The rooms are big and very clean. Open the window and you can see the Sahara dunes in front of you, love it! The whole facility is beautiful, clean and organised, as shown in the pictures. I did a trip go and back from Marrakesh with their driver. In the desert, I did the Camel ride and visited nomadic villages. All the activity guides were amazing! They explained everything carefully and sincerely care about making us feeling comfortable and happy. Our guide spoke Portuguese among several other languages. Giving us space in the right moment and time. I really recommend it if you want to experience an unforgettable moment. I look forward to going back.

Everythis was perfect! Amazing location, luxury tent with aircondition, perfect if you're visiting in winter, as we did. Food was amazing and the portion was really big! But most importantly, the guys who work there were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. They made us feel at home and we will definitely come back for longer! After dinner we enjoyed their music with bonfire. Eventhough we loved everything in Morocco, this stay was the highlight of our trip!

We arrived at 2AM at this hotel due to our travel from the Errachidia airport to Merzouga and they allowed us to check-in and get some rest, and manage the administrative stuff in the morning. The room is spacious, and has the perfect view of the Sahara dunes + air-conditioning when it got really hot. We loved the place so much that we decided to extend 1 more day so we can return to the same room after our glamping experience. Youssef was incredible in arranging all the items we wanted to be done (camel ride, 4x4, glamping arrangements) including our transport back to Marrakech. Hassan was really great in serving the breakfast and last minute lunch arrangements we made in the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The 4x4 ride on the sand dunes was a fantastic experience. They fulfilled all of our special requests promptly. Despite the long journey to Merzouga, it was definitely worth it. Highly recommended
