They pay attention to every detail and this makes you feel as you are in the best place you could ask for in Miyajima. The room was clean, the food was really great (not only the taste, but also how it was presented). Totally recommended!!!

Rooms in the Annex include a private bathroom with a bath and toilet, while rooms in the historical Main Building and Cottage Annex have shared bathrooms and toilets. A fabulous place. We would like to live there and never go home. 😁

The units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. Everything, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was lovely, and our room was fantastic with tatami mats and futon beds! Everything felt like an event, and there were a lot of little things that made us smile, like the traditional Japanese sweet in the room. Then, you have the island which is beautiful at night, which you can enjoy while staying, as well as during the day.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Very friendly and helpful staff (with a lift to and from the station). Delicious, beautifully presented food. Comfortable rooms. Convenient onsen next door. Very nice atmosphere.

Located within 2.3 km of Tsutsumigaura Beach and 500 metres of Five Storey Pagoda, Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Miyajima. This 2-star ryokan offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service. Momijidani Park is less than 1 km away and Museum of History and Folklore is a 12-minute walk from the ryokan. Great service that was communicative in English. Despite some problem with reservation (that was my blame, not the facility's) they resolved it quickly and let me fully enjoy the experience of ryokan. The building is located only roughly 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine with famed torii gate. The breakfast was outstanding.
