La Mesnagerie is 1 km from the centre of Jarzé and 16 km from the Château de Montgeoffroy. I just loved the history of the place, the lush diverse plants in the garden, the sounds of nature that you could hear. The whole place was out of a fairytale book, the bed was comfortable and the place just has so much charm. Breakfast was lovely. Homemade jam (the banana and kiwi some yum) with pastries and a delicious omelette too! Coffee served French style, in a bowl! The host was so friendly and welcomed you with warmness and was happy to help with any requests we had. Dog friendly! My dog loved it here as well. A tranquil oasis.

After booking our 3 night stay, we had some doubts about this venue and especially the available services. However, Benedicte and her husband Paul, together with their supporting team, do a great job! They welcome guests in a spontanious, very friendly manner and make you feel at home instantly. Paul's evening dinners are simple, made from local produce and very tasty. We found the interaction between guests/hosts quite pleasant and enjoyable. We had a great time at Chateau Vary, and the people running it are real gems!

We loved the tranquil surroundings, the beautiful garden and nice indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The hosts are wonderful and easy going. Our children had all the space to play around. This is a place where you can really relax. The location is excellent with lots of options for sightseeing, eating out, etc. The cottages are very suitable for families. Highly recommended!

Housed in a 17th-century château, Château de Briançon is 3 km from the centre of Bauné and 19 km from Angers. This B&B offers a garden, a terrace and free WiFi access. What a fabulous location! It looked great on Booking, but even more majestic in real life. Very comfortable room and great breakfast. We would happily stay again. What's even better is the money goes to a charity for disabled children.
