Located in Ingliston, 4.2 miles from Edinburgh Zoo, Moxy Edinburgh Airport has accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. I was unable to have breakfast due to an early departure for my flight, but my overall experience at the hotel was exceptionally pleasant. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the hotel were notable, and as an Interior Designer, I appreciated the thoughtfully designed lighting and interior elements. The staff was friendly, and arranging a taxi, even at 4 am, was effortlessly easy. The proximity of the hotel to the airport, just a few minutes away, contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I only regret not having more time to spend at the hotel.

Offering a garden, Castle Gogar Cottage features accommodations in Edinburgh. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The 'Castle Gogar Cottage' is attached to Gogar Castle - and the hosts' home - and is located at the end of a picturesque driveway just off the main Glasgow Road, Edinburgh. As such it is a short drive to a host of local attractions, quality restaurants, bars, golf courses and sports venues. Despite having Edinburgh Airport as our immediate neighbour we were never disturbed by any of the aircraft operations. The quality of The Cottage's furnishings is exceptionally high and the presentation was of the highest standard. The Cottage is superbly well appointed with quality fitments, bedlinen, towelling and the like. The bedroom suites, bathroom and lounge are all wonderfully comfortable, well heated and delightfully cosy. The kitchen was very spacious and, again, extremely well appointed. Our host, Donna, welcomed us on arrival and quickly explained the layout and the attractions of the property. Donna was warm, engaging and considerate and her attention to the guests’ needs is flawless. Communications were speedy and helpful. The rain deterred us from using the outdoor patio but The Cottage's indoor facilities more than compensated for the dreary weather. We look forward to making a return visit as soon as we can and would highly recommend 'Castle Gogar Cottage' to all discerning visitors to Edinburgh.

Set in a Victorian mansion in 55 acres of grounds, Norton House features a luxury spa, award-winning restaurant and boutique rooms with free internet. Staff : went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. After travelling for over 24hrs and landing at 6am the team were able to have our room ready which we were eternally grateful for. We also had a cancelled flight the next morning and there was no problem to book the same room again. (we were lucky enough not to be travelling in peak times for this availability) Food : both breakfast and dinners were fabulous. SPA : I had both facial and massage and they were bliss

We arrived about 12.15pm I liked it from the minute I stepped into the building, it was beautiful. All of the staff we met in check in were so helpful. They gave us our room Key, that was the biggest surprise knowing check in was at 3pm. The Continental breakfast the next morning was so special. Thank you so much We will be back
Stunning Building, grounds and location. Staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. Room was stunning and very comfortable. Food was very good and breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had. Only negatives I have is air con in room didn’t match up with instructions in room information booklet so couldn’t really use it and therefore even with provided fan on room was warm. Also guy on reception desk at night when I had a question was quite rude and unapproachable. Other than these 2 minor things , this was quite simply one of the best hotels I’ve bet stayed in. 9.8 out of 10 Would 100% stay here again !
Ratho exceeded all of our expectations. We'd booked the end of our 10-day Scotland trip near the airport (which is less than 10 minutes away), and so thought this might be a less than perfect part of town on Edinburgh's outstretches. But, not at all. Ratho is charming, quaint, with lots of nice walking in town or along the canals.
We stayed at Orocco Pier in the middle of the High Street which has fantastic views of the Three Bridges over the Forth River. Enjoyed a great meal at Scott’s at Port Edgar Marina. Free parking for customers. Lovely cafes and coffee shops available. Parking can be difficult but we’ve managed each time we’ve visited.
