 The property was great. We loved it from the first sight. Even though we arrived late, there was someone waiting for us which show us around the place and also offered us a parking place for our car, which was great.  The place was very clean. Very beautiful. We even had some water juice and soft drinks in the fridge and coffee capsules and a coffee machine. Every morning we were receiving our breakfast on our balcony. It was great we had a very pleasant experience. The location was perfect. It was a three minute drive to the city centre Thera. It was the perfect combination of quiet and close to many amenities like supermarkets, kiosks, restaurants, etc. I will definitely book this property again when visiting Santorini.

Everything was wonderful. We arranged for a taxi and the driver took us to our room, showed us how to use the facilities, and gave us information about the island and area.

The property is located in a beautiful spot, overlooking the sea and the village of Fira. Exceptional service, the room was comfortable and always clean. Claudio, one of the main hosts, exceeded any expectation. We always felt that someone got our back whether that was for tips, small things that we needed while staying here or connections about activities that we wanted to do. We will for sure choose Black Stone Villas on our next trip to Santorini.

We liked everything. The location: 5 min away from the local bus stop, from there you can take the bus to the airport, Perissa, Kamari and other places in the southern part of the island. When it comes to Fira (Thera), we just walked as it is 15-16 away by foot, with the Fira bus station being maximum 20 min away by foot. There are a few restaurants and shops just around the corner. The rooms: clean and fresh, all hotel areas seemed clean and well maintained, the air conditioning was working perfectly but we felt that the room itself is cool enough even without it on. We enjoyed the outside terrace that we had (Room nr. 5) for sunbathing and a light dinner with wine, olives and other snacks :) The staff was very nice and helpful, they were more than happy to help us with any question that we had. The breakfast included was a big advantage for us. Some previous guests were not happy with the bathroom. I would say that there is nothing luxurious about it, it may seem outdated but it was functional, clean and it served us well :) I would rate our stay at 9.5 but since it is impossible to do so, I put 10 instead. Other tips from me: ask the hotel staff about cheaper/larger stores. Get your water, beer, peanuts, wine, olives and whatever snacks at those cheaper/larger stores. Some of the stores that you will find in Thira will charge you a lot more for the basics. Same with cafes and restaurants. Santorini is generally not a cheap destination but it does not mean that you have to pay extra all the time. For sunsets: Thira is great as well, our best sunset was in Thira, we found a great spot in the town (next to the Saint Mina church) and enjoyed a wonderful sunset just the two of us. There are other great spots nearby. We have been to Oia and there were hundreds of people trying to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the same spot. Nothing romantic about it, but we had time to try Oia also.

Good access. The hotel is located in Karterados. 3 minutes walk to the nearest local bus stop. With using local bus, you can go all main spots of the Santorini like beach (Kamari, Perissa), airport, sea port, Oia (Nice photo spot), Akrotiri, etc. Also one important thing is just 15 Minutes walk to Fira, main area of Santorini island. Quite convenient that Fira is walking distance.

Location is nearby Fira and very well located Our Host Stavros was really friendly and helpful during our stay. I recommend to rent an ATV to visit the different cities more easily.
