The issue someone mentioned with looking into the bedroom from the living room has been solved - all rooms have doors. The best thing was the location though - so very lovely and quiet! We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the forest; listening to the birds and frogs. It’s an easy walk to the shrine.

Even though my Japanese is pretty elementary the staff were very helpful and even had a little pocket translator to help. Also a very good bargain.
