We expected our stay in Tiputa to be slightly off the beaten path - and it was, for the best of it! The property is at the "remote" end of the village, on the ocean shore - enjoy the noise of breakers during the night! First floor, nice view. No light pollution - enjoy the view of the Milky Way at night. Beyond the beauty of Rangiroa (expected), we were warmly welcome by the owner's family, who did everything to make us feel at home. Bread, butter, jam were offered for breakfast, and the "restaurant" they recommended was... the neighbor's yard, with 4 tables and a "beware of the dog" sign on the porch. The dog is nice and well-behaved, the cook very friendly and focused on healthy local dishes with fresh (garden-plucked) ingredients, which were outstanding (and more than decently priced)! Thank you for everything, this was a highlight of our vacation in Tahiti.

Very peaceful and quiet. Great location. The host and their family were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful people. We would definitely recommend staying there. They also offer excursions. Spotless clean bungalow, well equipped kitchen, central location in the middle of the atoll. Ann met me at the airport, showed me around and even left some food (I arrived on Sunday and shops were already closed). I would stay again.
