The location is on the edge of the old town, and many restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. We were also near several great boulangeries, including outside the old town. The room size is amazing, with a separate kitchen table and a dining room table. The room flow was very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable and we didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. They also offered cold drinks for a small fee. We plan to return in the future. There are windows on both sides of the room. We opened the windows on both sides and received a wonderful breeze. Full kitchen. Beautiful garden and many outdoor seating options. Pull-out-couch was one of the best we’ve slept on. Separate toilet shower and sink allowed for quicker dressing and out the door in morning. Lots of natural and soft lighting options. Because check in and out was contactless we could set our own schedule and not worry about inconveniencing the proper owner. Notes inside explained how to use everything and recommendations for meals and local markets provided.

The apartment is very nicely, generously and of high quality standards equipped with all the usual things you might need during your stay. In case of bad weather (we never had during last week August 2022) you have the choice of two huge TV-Screens in the living room and master sleeping room respectively, or a normal one in the kitchen for entertainment during your cooking. Especially, in the spacious kitchen all the normal kitchenware and much more are new and presented in a very attentive way. The newly renovated and decoratively furnished rooms come with more than sufficient space. We very much enjoyed the balcony on the back side, with an open view to the greens of the surrounding hilly gardens, entertaining goats restlessly climbing up and down the terrace walls, and the view to the city of Lons-les-saunier to the left and Jura hills with the medieval town house facades of Montaigu to the right. The landlord family living next door was discreet during our stay, as the apartment designation "L'INATTENDU" makes you expect. But, they did not forget to welcome us with a big piece of Jura Comté cheese supplied in the fridge.
