The communication was straight forward and they picked up timely. Ahmet also provided us with a jeep tour and camel ride which we LOVED. The kids were over the moon which we saw along with 1000 stars that night. Pure Magic. The crew cooked us excellent local food and at the evening we were sitting around fire and talking about local life. Ahmet is a gentlemen of the desert, kind funny, punctual an delivers what he promised. actually we forgot our jackets in the tent and he organized a cab to bring them to our hotel in Aqabba (1 hour drive) for 5 Dinar. We really enjoyed our traditional evening meal and loved star watching. The desert was the quietest place that we’ve been to. Enjoy the silence! We think that a jeep tour is essential if you want to see the real Wadi Rum. The camp is a great place to stay but Wadi Rum is so much more. The mountains make an amazing backdrop to the desert.
