Situated in the center of Zamami Village this darling little hotel is great for your vacation here. Clean, cozy and comfortable the owner and his wife are cheerful, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large outdoor shower area and plenty of drying spaces to make cleaning up from the beach a snap! They also provide little ice chests and an ice machine for guest use- a thoughtful touch. The restaurant on the ground floor is delicious and convenient. All in all a wonderful choice for Zamami Island!

Everything! Location is lovely it’s just 2 mins walk to Ama beach, perfect sunset beach and for turtle spotting! The tatami room smells so lovely and is super clean. Strong and silent AC, quiet room, and the shared bathrooms are super clean! Honestly the most clean stay on the Kerama Islands. I especially love the warm hospitality and dinner was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend dinner in the minshuku. I’d definitely come back!

The property was well located, a close few minute walk to the port, impeccably clean, and very reasonably priced. It was the owners that made it very special, they conducted fantastic tours and trips of all kinds. I did a snorkeling tour, which was Exceptional, better than snorkeling Hawaii. They really know this island, and work hard to make sure every guest has a peek, enjoyable experience. I loved Zamami Island, it was super easy to get around, and very chill. Fantastic experience, and this guesthouse has my highest recommendation.

Our stay at Kucha was one of the highlights of our 8 week trip. Takaka-san is a very helpfull and sweet host and great cook. The traditional Japanese house has everything you need from snorkel gear to beach towels to a washing machine. It's not so far from the port, we rented bicycles but the hills are quite steep so the bus would also be an option. We really wished we could stay longer because it felt like paradise! Also, Kiki the cat is very cute.

The hotel has all the services you need, outside showers to wash and dry sandy beach wear, washing machine, dryer, possibility to rent stuff and store luggage for a day. Rooms are simple, but very new and super clean, good AC, small but neat bathroom. Beds are on the soft side, but comfortable. During the night it was very quiet, we slept well. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is perfect for those who want a genuinely laid-back , rustic but CLEAN and reasonably priced accommodation with the option of staying in a small, private room like we had. Thank you to the kind staff. Zamami is the best!
