· While we had some troubles finding the place because of the street, it was a great hotel with great hosts. The overal location is great and close to everything in Essaouira. The hosts speak mostly French but have no issue adjusting to English. They are really nice and a great help when in need for some help. Breakfast was really good. Rooms are a bit noisy, but that is common in every Riad I'd say. if you're a light sleeper, bring some earplugs.

Where to start?? We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Dar Abi. It was our last stay to end our two week Moroccan travels and Fatima helped make our stay so memorable. The rooms are beautifully decorated with Moroccan rugs, art, and blankets. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big, and the shower always had warm water. Fatima prepared us homemade breakfast every morning of mint tea, coffee, fruit, an assortment of fresh breads and pastries, eggs, jam and butter. It was so generous and so nice to have a breakfast like that to start our day. There is also laundry service for $5 which we needed to have done after two weeks of traveling. I spent a lot of time reading on the rooftop and enjoying the sun. The star of our stay though was definitely Fatima. She is such a kind and wonderful person. She even offered to help buy us a rug when we told her we were looking for a runner similar to the one she had in the riad. On my last morning there, Fatima drew henna on my hand as a parting gift. It was truly a thoughtful gesture, and I'm thankful that we were able to spend our last remaining days in Morocco at Riad Dar Abi with Fatima. We recommend staying here without hesitation.

We could not have had a better stay! The Tamayourt is a secluded Riad about 10 minutes drive from Essaouira. Everything about this place is perfect. Quiet, incredible, friendly and attentive staff, especially the owner Maryam who is a ray of sunshine, exceedingly helpful and an amazing chef. The days we ate here all day were the best food we had on our whole trip. The garden and art pieces are stunning, and the heated pool has been the best swims we’ve had. As hard workers, we wanted a total relaxation of a holiday and Tamayourt provided that and more.

The room was well organized and clean that I felt like home although it has been a long time before staying in an hotel. Mr. Yessir and the team were very friendly, they provided all the needed things as well as the information about the city, food, and the facility itself. The rooftop is a nice place for a calm evening coffee. Don't miss that. The breakfast was cooked with care, healthy, and most of its contents were organic. The location is easy to find, calm at night, and lively in the afternoon.

    Great location right in the middle of the Medina but very quiet (I was there during Ramadan so it was perhaps quieter than usual). Spacious room, nice and clean. Traditional style of building, very charming. Lots of German and French retirees :)

    Excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace, fresh fruit salad, coffee, eggs and wonderful Moroccan breads. Good location, central but quiet. The rooms are all individually decorated. I was in the grey room, comfortable, decent size and fresh roses in my room on arrival. Felix, the manager could not be more helpful and charming. I would highly recommend this Riad.

    Very nice place. Good located in the heart of Essaouira but on a quiet road. Warm and friendly french owners. Very charming decoration. Totaly worth the money if you want to spend some time in you accommodation, otherwise you might find something cheaper.

    We spent 1 night here. Location is perfect, close to the city center, beach, bus station, but in a really quiet area, We booked a 2 beds private room with bathroom. Authentic Moroccan place with a great rooftop terrace. Kitchen for everybody great solution too cook if you want. Budget place, reccommend to stay here if You are looking for a cheap but good place to stay.
