What an amazing experience and such beautiful humans! We loved everything, the people, the surroundings, the nature, the attention to details, the food, the intimacy of the place. Everything is clean and taken care off. Breakfast is super rich a tasteful. Glory helped me organize a bday cake for my birthday and sing her happy bday. We also enjoyed a very nice chat with her. Azizi gave us a lot of information about how to get to the city center, what to do there, what to pay attention to and even helped us with some local currency. Hakuna Matata and Asante sana!

Cecil and Marley are so welcoming and they helped by storing my luggage while I went on a safari and also arrange to drive me to Kilimangiaro Airport which is pretty far. I enjoy spending time in the Garden & pool and have a beer even though my stay was short it was great. Also they made dinner the night I was there and it was vegetarian and it was one of the best dinner I had during the trip! Also both dogs are the cutest! Thank you so much!

Anna is such an amazing host, and helped to make our time in Arusha truly special. We already miss her! It was valentines day and we arrived to a room decorated with candles and rose petals in the most charming fashion. Everything at the residence was in good order, comfortable and quiet. Our room had a private bathroom with plenty of hot water and space to organize our things. The bed was comfortable and multiple windows gave us a view to lush, cozy surroundings. Occasionally a young kid would walk by the alley behind the house on the way to school. This is a home in a beautiful neighborhood away (not far) from the bustling downtown. We enjoyed our breakfast early in the morning with delicious local food, juice and hot coffee before heading out on a safari. There is a beautiful covered table in the yard with plenty of light and electricity for relaxing, planning and conversation. David also arranged for our guide Martin to take us from the airport everywhere we needed, including to pick up SIM cards and haggle for a good price in the local markets on a bag we needed. We spent a great deal of time with Martin and Anna and loved every minute. They are ambassadors to the world of how special the country of Tanzania is. It’s difficult to describe the vibrance and hospitality that greets you everywhere you go. I know this might sound exaggerated but it’s just that special — come stay with these wonderful hosts and see it for yourself.

    The villa is easily found, and in a good location 40minute walk from the centre or a short dala dala ride. Water gets nice and hot, and the breakfasts are absolutely amazing. Very generous portions! and it includes a nice mix of local food and a few western home comforts. All staff are incredibly welcoming and the atmosphere is calm, quiet and private despite being close to the main road- we really enjoyed our time here.

    Very communicative host Walter, comfortable room, bed and bathroom. Quiet neighborhood, not to far from city centre. Walter helped me out with a lot of things, really takes care a you a his guest. Try to be in touch with Walter before going there , the place is a bit hard to find using only navigation. By phone he can explain best way to get there. Good value for money!

Chris is a great host and the staff are incredibly helpful. Traditional cooking was done for us in the evening. The breakfast with fresh fruits as well as jam and pancakes is excellent. The property also has a beautifully landscaped garden with a seating area around a campfire pit and a small outdoor bar.

    We had a nice time at Didas Villa, initially booked for 2 nights and then decided to extend for 3 extra nights. The place is within walking distance of the city center (25-30min) and not far from the main road, the room was spacious and comfortable. The place is quiet and nice to sit at the porch to have your coffee or breakfast. The staff was always super friendly & helpful.

    I like to think of this place as a bed and breakfast or boutique hotel. It is a small cute hotel located off a dirt road about 15 - 20mins from Arusha Airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was cheap and nice. Location was in the middle of town with so many businesses nearby.

    Great location close to the city centre (the Booking.com location is accurate; Google Maps is outdated). Quiet area, comfortable flat with own kitchen, bathroom and living room. Swahiba is a great host, we are glad for having got to know him and supporting his business. Bed was comfortable and the fruit juice maker in the kitchen was a bonus! :)
