A beautiful room, a beautiful place and a host who was so thoughtful! She helped us with dinner as it was a national holiday and provide so much help for our next days hike. Everything was perfect.

Villa Louisa is located in Saint Malo and offers a garden and a terrace. This bed and breakfast is less than 1 km from Solidor Tower and an 11-minute walk from Ferry Terminal du Naye. Location is perfect... a lovely walk into historic St Malo. Close to all needed amenities. Elizabeth was a gem, very personable, knowledgeable and she provided top notch breakfasts. Room was in adjacent annex, very quiet, well appointed and very safe and secure. Place was very clean and well maintained. The experience ensures that we will be back.

We were truly delighted with our stay. The accommodation is nestled right in the heart of the old city, offering a genuine glimpse into its rich history. Despite the building's impressive age of 400 years, the room amenities are refreshingly modern. Please note, there isn't an elevator, so those staying on higher floors will need to navigate the historic stairs. This might be a consideration for those who find steep stairs challenging. However, for those who can, it's a truly unique experience. The owner was wonderfully attentive, preparing our breakfast to our preferences. While the breakfast was simple, it was delicious. Given the challenges of securing a taxi in St. Malo, we're especially grateful for the owner's assistance in arranging one for our departure.

We departed the town wishing to stay for a longer period. However, I believe that the apartament where we stayed in and the kindness of the owners made all the difference for this fantastic experience we had in Saint Malo. The owners of the apartment gave us the best tips on where to go, what restaurants to try, where to shop. We reached them several times and got quick answers. The place we stayed in was neatly decorated, super clean, and well equipped. I mean it, very well equipped. I loved the clean towels and sheets. Appliances are new or really well maintained and easy to operate. There is plenty of everything among kitchen utensils and stuff. Just one day before leaving I found a tea pot and a tea filter. Everything is of very good quality. The apartment is close to grocery stores, a fancy bakery, organic grocery store (you cannot miss that) and not too far from local beaches. Despite all that, it is located in a calm and silent area. Towards the end of the day I loved to open the windows and listen to the birds chirping. Ah, and parking. There is free parking just a few steps away from the apartament. The best!

Brigette is a warm and welcoming host. Our room was large and comfortable with a large bathroom, tea and coffee and a small refrigerator. She loves collecting antiques and this was present in the china, art, decor and furnishings. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the company of Brigette and the other guests.

We advised them that our boat from Jersey would be a late arrival. No problem. We had a lovely breakfast - the brown roll on offer was delightful. We bought 3 of them to take home to Luxembourg. The garden is a joy to see & if time had allowed, I'ld still be there, watching the sun rise in the East & sink in the West. Heaven1
