Set within 16 km of Parc des Expositions Avignon and 25 km of Avignon Central Station, Le 215 Gambetta boutique hôtel en Provence offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in... The property is as described in the listing but the photos don’t do it justice. The host - Gilles- was fantastic and made sure I was able to access the building and my room out of hours. He also made great recommendations for places to visit and to dine in the area and we had great conversations over an equally good breakfast spread. While there is no parking on site, the property is one minute walk away from a public parking lot and the area felt very safe. It is also very close to the train station and city centre which are great conveniences in a small town. There are no elevators in the property but there are two lovely studio apartments on the ground floor if accessibility is a concern. I would very likely stay here again as a base for visiting Provence.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Le Mas Justin is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Gordes, 25 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon. Mas Julien is an absolute find! We stayed for 2 nights in Chambre 2 - the room was much larger than we'd expected, really well designed and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the hosts really helpful and friendly. Wished we'd discovered this earlier - but definitely hope to be able to return again soon.

Offering a garden and pool view, Le Mas de Caroline is set in Gargas, 39 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon and 48 km from Avignon Central Station. Our hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a lovely terrace where a continental breakfast was served each morning. The property has a big yard with trees and shade (and a swimming pool!). The mornings were lovely to sit outside and hear the cicadas warming up for the day.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Chambres d'Hôtes Le relais des marmottes provides accommodation with an indoor pool and free WiFi. This property exceeded our expectations! The village is charming, the guest house is so cute, and there were fun added bonuses including a beautiful backyard area and indoor pool room (swimming pool and billiards). We will definitely return!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Château Saint-Pierre de Mejans offers accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. Unforgettable!!! The best stay in Provence by far. From our lovely host Wendy to the beautifully restored property and scrumptious breakfast! We loved this place! So sad it was only an overnight stay and couldn’t enjoy the property and all it had to offer. Thank you Wendy for being so accomodating, for the tour of the property and attention to detail. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and luxurious. We’ll be back in warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and sample your local wines too. Cheers from Australia.

Au Ralenti du Lierre provides a sauna and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Beaumettes, 27 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon. The hotel is beautiful, the way it has been renovated is excellent. We did not want to leave the hotel during the day :) Staff is also great.

Located 48 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon, La Chaumière, Demeure d'hôtes offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a bar. I would highly recommend staying at this B&B. The location was close to gorgeous vineyards, outdoor shopping, and a city in France voted “the most beautiful in the world.”. The hosts were wonderful and their hospitality is something that you will not experience at other hotels. They had fantastic recommendations for dining and activities. The rooms have balconies with incredible views, reliable wifi and come with breakfast every morning. If we return to the area we will definitely stay at La Chaumiere again.

Set within 10 km of The Ochre Trail and 15 km of Village des Bories in Bonnieux, Villa Domitia Chambre d'Hôtes Luberon provides accommodation with seating area. Great location on a hill, with a panoramic view of the city from the terrace. We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel . We spent the afternoon relaxing on the terrace until the sunset. The design of the room, terrace and garden planting was lovely and good taste. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Breakfast, delivered to our room in a basket, was delicious.

La Maison près de la Fontaine is situated in Saignon, 15 km from The Ochre Trail, 20 km from Village des Bories, and 28 km from Abbaye de Senanque. The breakfast was amazing with delicious coffee, fresh breads, homemade jams and yogurt. Everything was lovely. The owner went out of her way to serve us and make sure everything was to our liking. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the family ambiance was much appreciated.
