The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. What can I say. The property is sensationel, the food excellent - the beer as well and the staff are simply incredible, helpful, very friendly and competent without exception. I can‘t remember any experience like that and I do travel a lot. You simply feel at home there. Any time again. If it were possible I would allocate 10 points. Thanks

Offering a restaurant, The Greyhound Inn is located in Staple Fitzpaine. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV. Charming property, wonderful staff. Large rooms, nice bathroom, immaculately clean and well prepared. Very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. I took all my meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast, all good. My friends tell me they serve excellent beer but I don't drink! Not difficult to find and plenty of parking. Good value.

The Bower Inn is an 18th-century building, located just off the M5 motorway and 2 miles from Bridgwater town centre. It offers stylish rooms with luxury bathrooms and delicious homemade food. The Bower Inn is a lovely friendly well located pub. The facilities are excellent and the staff are all very friendly and so helpful. They can’t do enough for you. Plus they love our dog - Dudley.

Boasting garden views, Glastonbury Hideaway features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 43 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. A place to unwind with a beautiful view, as the name of the accommodation also suggests, a little hideaway. Everything I needed was present, a comfortable warm bed, big cups of tea, silence, privacy and the owner's helpfulness when I needed it. I felt at home, it's definitely my favourite place when I'm in Glastonbury. Everything is nearby for sightseeing and to experience.

Located in Cheddar, the recently renovated The Old Police House offers accommodation 27 km from Ashton Court and 29 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Very warm and lovely welcome from Lyn. The Old Police House is a very special place, small but there‘s everything you need. Comfortable bed, cooking place, fridge… Lyn recommended us a few good places to go out and have diner, within walking distance. We would really come back once. Thank you Lyn for your kindness and helpfulness.

Pilgrims of the Goddess, a property with a garden, is located in Glastonbury, 42 km from Oldfield Park Train Station, 43 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station, as well as 43 km from Bath Spa Train... LOVED my stay here. Tina is such a welcoming host and everything is so beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is bar none. I especially liked the filtered water, selection of teas and oat milk sachets in the room👌🤩 A perfect oasis and getaway, I felt like a new person when I left 😊

Located in Glastonbury, within 42 km of Oldfield Park Train Station and 43 km of Bristol Temple Meads Station, Parsnips House BnB Glastonbury provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well... If it existed on a scale of 15 stars this place would get that much from me :). Clean, beautiful house and the owners extraordinary. Excellent breakfasts also vegetarian. Prepared with love and attention to every detail. I'm a little worried that my review will make it hard to find a free room at their place :). But ok, this place is worth such an opinion.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maplestone is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Shepton Mallet, 29 km from Bath Spa Train Station. very comfortable and beautiful house run by wonderful host Alan.

Greenlands Guest House, a property with a garden, is situated in Highbridge, 47 km from Ashton Court, 47 km from Bristol Zoo Gardens, as well as 48 km from Bristol Cathedral. As I have an eating problem the breakfast I had suited me 100% I cannot find fault with any thing, the location was just right for the purpose of my visit, although it was for one day only i cant wait to go back and stay longer, I would certainly recommend this Guest House to all my friends.

Boasting garden views, The Potting Shed, self contained, detached retreat in Shapwick village offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 44 km from Ashton Court. We absolutely loved everything! Since the first moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Mathew, we felt at home. The potting shed is so lovely decorated, and it had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, and the view of the room is so nice. I felt o could live there :) .. To finish our wonderful stay, breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! From homemade bread, to homemade muesli cereal!! And healthy salmon, eggs and fresh spinach from the garden!!! Mathew asked us if we wanted salmon or bacon, I felt this was very special that we could choose. The table was so beautiful decorated, even with a candle and a peaceful view to the garden. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! Also, we had great conversations and left full hearted! RECOMMEND 100 % and we’ll stay again if we come by in the future! Thank you, Mathew
