We had a baby and a toddler and the staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. The pool area was great and had a little splash pool for kids too. Views at night time from the balcony is beautiful with all the lights and boats coming and going. We upgraded to a suite on check in and it was definitely worth it for the extra room to separate the kids for sleeping. A great hotel, would definitely go back

The buildings were beautiful looked like you were in real traditional old school vibe The surrounding was beautiful places to eat, shop around with a boat over the other side of more traditional souks. Rooms were comfy with everything we needed. This hotel was a great price for what it is.

However on approach the boat, the working port around it immediately lowers the tone. It would of been so much better to of positioned it in a sort after location like Dubai Marina or off the Palm. By locating the boat somewhere like this, you would give guests option to visit other hotel restaurants and facilities seeing as QE2 facilities are all still closed 3 years after opening.
