Sitting up top for a meal overlooking the water was phenomenal. Host was flexible with dropping luggage and check in/out. Not recommended for mobility impaired.

Although it is the winter season, there has never been a heating problem. The beds were super comfortable. Having Netflix and apple tv was an advantage. It was stationed on a quiet canal in the main center of the city. Our host was a super positive person. He helped us with everything. The sound insulation was great. There was a private entrance. The hot water and shower were great. When we go to the Netherlands again, it is definitely a place we would like to stay. Almost all the attractions were within walking distance.

You get to have your own separate apartment so to say, the old Captains area. Upon entry you find the cozy living area with couch, two chairs and a vintage record player. Downstairs is the kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and enough utensils etc. Friendly little details provided by the hosts give it a very personal feel. the bedroom is a comfy bed for two and the window just above water level as well as the skylight with option cover makes for the true ship feeling. In the summer there is a small balcony with hammock upstairs. And the view of the harbor is very calming for us at least. The bathroom has a nice modern shower, the floor is such that it can be dried easily with the sweeper..All products were provided.
