Trade Winds Hotel, hotel in Dickenson Bay

This hotel is a quiet, intimate property with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Nestled in the hills of Dickenson Bay, Guests have front row seats to the most breath-taking sunset on the island.

Fab views and very friendly staff. We checked in early and out late and they were so accommodating. Rooms were nicer than what they look like in the pictures. Beds super comfy. Food in the restaurant was some of the best we had around the island - really delicious! All round great stay - only had 1 night on route from Barbuda to the airport but could easily have stayed longer.

Ocean Point Resort & Spa Adults Only, hotel in Dickenson Bay

This sea front property features a spa and wellness centre with massage service. The adults-only resort has an outdoor swimming pool and offers free WiFi and free parking.

This was my seventh visit to Ocean Point.......but the first after Covid. The property was well maintained and the hotel architecture resembles an Italian Villa. The variety of palm trees and the gardens were spectacular as before! The Staff is well educated with customer care and is very courteous and friendly. The biggest change was the kitchen......before there was a large buffet for every meal. However, after Covid, buffet style meals have been "outlawed" but their served meals are still exceptional with ultra fresh ingredients!!! We had the all inclusive package which I would highly recommend!

It was an exceptional experience. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. very quiet area dominated by the large Sandals hotel next door, not too many places to eat at and the restaurant Salt Plage is expensive but unfortunately not very good !! Get a car and find other places in the nearby St johns (capital)

Dickenson Bay is a beautiful beach - white sand and turquoise water. Much quieter that I expected although we were there during low season- late April to early May. I thought there’d be more beach bars/restaurants but there was only one although one was being renovated. A lot of the front is taken up by a Sandals all inclusive resort.

I arrived in a taxi, in the afternoon after a 8 hour flight from the UK. I was in Antigua in transit for 24 hours and in need of relaxation, and this place did not disappoint. The host Yvonne met me on arrival and showed me the room, described the area and suggested where I could go for dinner/drinks. Despite it being a quick visit, the 1 night I spent here was comfortable and had everything I needed, I even managed a 40 minute walk to Dickenson Bay at 07:00 the following morning - A perfect choice for my short stay!

Each room has a beautiful expansive view of Dickenson Bay. The property was immaculate and with comfortable outdoor furniture for enjoying the view. The host Ivonna met us upon arrival and was very welcoming and two more members of her family Luigi and Marina were equally welcoming. Ivonna left her contact information with us and responded right away to a request for one additional pillow. The well-stocked and modern Epicurian Grocery was a short drive away for our in apartment meal preparations.

I had a fabulous week at Buccaneer Beach Club. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. I am a solo traveller and the staff made me feel safe and welcome. Amazing friendly service from Oscar, Shakira, Stanley, and Leonard the manager (and everyone else). The part of the beach for our sun loungers was the best spot in the bay. Also plenty of loungers round the lovely warm pool too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon!

Quick response of Ivonne to any queries . Taxis easy to arrange to the cricket we went to see. Fantastic room overlooking the sea at Dickenson Bay a couple of mile away. Room had everything you needed. Supermarket and bank ATM 15 minutes walk. Also a couple of excellent cafes and local restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Only thing of note is the steep hill if you walk back to the room but after all that food and drink you need some exercise

The host was so welcoming and helpful, and the property exceeded our expectations. It was well located near the airport but also allowed us to experience a little bit of Antigua, particularly in the Dickinson Bay area. There were great restaurant options nearby as well as grocery in order to spend some time on the property and use the amenities offered to take in the exceptional evening views from the terrace. Highly recommended!

The condo was clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything one might need. The sunsets were beautiful. The grounds were beautifully maintained by Atta and the swimming pool was wonderful to have nearby for a quick dip or day of relaxation. The condo was located close to two great supermarkets and had easy access to St John's as well.

Marvelous place. Set on a hillside, we had a beautiful panoramatic view from the terace and the pool. The sunsets are exceptional, with clear skies we could see St. Kitts and Montserrat on the horizon. We could also walk easily to Dickenson Bay beach, which itself is beautiful. Nice places to go out for lunch or dinner.

The apartments are located on a hill which provide great views of Dickenson Bay. There is a communal pool and seating area which is an added bonus. The beach is walkable and would take 10-15 mins going but 20-30 returning due to the afore mentioned hills. A car is recommended as the nearest shops are a 5-10 min drive.

The location is excellent. The hotel access to the beach is as good as it gets - a few steps only. There were usually sunbeds available on the beach and these were clearly signed for Buccaneer guests only - although some non guests still used them anyway. The beach is small but adequate.

I did not appreciate the hotel charging me the full amount after my flight was cancelled and it was not possible to make it to the island. I lost 100% of my money and there was zero compromise on the financial implications.
