Although the facility is clean and confortable, the best part of this B&B is Amalia, the host. She is very warm and welcoming. She provided us with great food, wine, and brandy; much of it produced or grown on the property. We communicated in German since I do not know much Armenian. If anyone is taking the slow road from Tbilisi to Yerevan and wants to pass time in a small Armenian town, staying here will be a treat.

The beds are very comfortable and all facilities are in good condition. Breakfast was so tasty with a lot of variety and we ordered dinner as well which was delicious. What a good experience we had at HamEl Guesthouse. In september, we were hiking the TCT and we spend the night in Odzun. The owners were extremely friendly and offered a home-made dinner for us, it was the best thing! The rooms were spacious and clean and we had our own kitchen and washing machine to use. We had everything we needed and it felt like a real home to us. Thanks to the lovely owners!!
