Location was perfect. It is across the street from the lovely Kenora museum. We could walk everywhere we needed. The little kitchenette has everything one would need. Hosts greeted us on arrival with keys and answered any questions we had. We would definitely use the stone house again

Breakfast: first day came down to pick up breakfast for my aunt who couldn't come down. Then came down with the rest of the family. There was lots of people and very little food so we sat and waited for everyone to serve. At 9:00 we went to serve there was no bacon, potatoes and just a bit of eggs.We ask if he was going to bring more to be told breakfast was over .He refused to make food. The next day the lady was super nice and she served everyone to the end of breakfast time.Wonderful.
Just a minutes’ walk to Keewatin Beach, Brewer's Inn offers free WiFi access and an on-site restaurant. Equipped with high ceilings, each guest room enjoys air conditioning and a cable TV.
There was only 2 restaurants that had good food. The Iron Clay Coffee House and The Log Cabin Tavern were the two restaurants with excellent food.
The other restaurants we went to were below par with their food preparation. No wonder some of the restaurants go out of business.
The Hungry Pug restaurant, 901 Westside, and Ho Jo’s food preparation and quality of food was below par. Not good at all.

This is a wonderful place to visit, especially in the summer but year round. Lots to do, the lake is grand, people friendly. Good variety of places to eat and drink.
As the hotel had no food outlet we got our breakfasts at Tim Hortons and enjoyed the little drive. Lots of hilly roads which could be exciting or terrifying but all paved and fairly clear visibility. Winter could be tricky driving off the main streets!
I would avoid booking late - and don't go if you book at last minute in the summer - don't settle for poor accommodations. Wait until there are lots of options. Consider a Bed and Breakfast if hotels not readily available. May cost more but likely more reliable and attractive.

I'm originally from Kenora, so I go to visit my family (and Lake of the Woods) as often as possible. This was a wonderful, restful, clean, right-in-the-middle of Keewatin/Kenora hotel. My whole family was happy to stay here.

It is an awesome town.
It is an awesome town. Beautiful views of Lake of the Woods and an easy place to walk everywhere from the hotel. They have a great walking/cycling path right across the hotel. Excellent town for water activities and a great fishing spot. You can also spot wildlife right in town. Some nice shops are worth visiting and a few good restaurants like The Boathouse and Lake Of The Woods Brewery which has it's own beers brewed on the spot and a nice restaurant on site too.

Because of this hotel and staff, Kenora has left a bad impression with me. I have nicknamed it the BLACKHOLE! I share this information with everyone I know. Message is: STAY AWAY from this blackhole of a place!
Location- great- up on a hill, away from right downtown. Felt safe and secure and just rebooked to stay there on our drive home.
The breakfast room was closed, other than coffee and hot chocolates (anytime) but they gave everyone a bag lunch in the morning- yogurt, granola bar, breakfast sandwich (which we could microwave in the room) and a bottle of water.
The carpets were freshly cleaned- everything was great- will definitely stay there again and recommend it as a great to stay in Kenora
For the price.. simple rooms. They give you one key and you need to carry with you and you lock outside.. and while this system exist other places there is nobody in the hotel ..from 9 pm to 11AM!! So went to start my car in morning stay lock outside at -20 !! Others customers help us. There was no number to reach anyone we were 4 rooms who tried to reach this guys ..
Good location off the highway but not loud at all. Clean and modern facilities a huge step up from most other Northern Ontario hotels. Staff friendly and helpful in all cases. Complimentary breakfast bag. Controllable AC in the room. Comfortable beds. Wifi fast enough to watch YouTube with no loading.
The location was ideal. Easy to get to and near lots of amenities. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and fresh smelling. Breakfast was good - in a grab and go bag. We appreciated that we could get juice from the dispenser in the lobby for breakfast as well.

We were driving thru to the west coast and got caught in a bad winter storm. We had to stay in Kenora an extra day. The rooms were nice and clean. The best part were the deers that came up to the window for a visit. Would go back. Great customer service. One happy customer.
The location to downtown Kenora and establishments was very convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable. It would be a great location for multiple day stay. Nicole was very helpful recommending restaurants
and attraction.
Hotel location was good for getting around. Front reception person was very pleasant and helpful. The "pen procedure" for registering was very thoughtful. Had a ground floor room that made it easy to load/unload car.
A burst creek flooding the parking lot greeted us. The room smelled like a million cigarettes, the bed was nasty, the room was old and run down and all for a whopping $198/night. The worse hotel I've stayed in.
The hotel was situated across from the water and close to Husky the Muskie. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The lady we dealt with was very sympathetic and apologetic. Made this ordeal manageable.
Convenient location for an overnight stay while traveling through Kenora. Front staff were efficient & friendly. Continental breakfast offered more than expected.
The room was huge, with two luxury deep Queen beds, felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Pleasant hotel with lots of food choices and easy access to highway.
We thought the hotel, the location and room were beautiful. Service was excellent. The is a beautiful public beach with playground and a dock very close by.
