This is the smallest room I have had so far at Dom Hotel, with a single bed (so far I have always had 2 single beds next to each other making a double bed). Probably I was upgraded to a larger room for my previous stays.
Compared to other rooms I have had in this hotel, I think this one had not been renovated yet and the bathroom style was less appealing. Still it was comfortable, clean, and large enough for 1 person.
Staff at the reception is always very nice and helpful (recommendations about nearby restaurants, etc.)
Breakfast is always a pleasure.
Location is perfect, just at the limit of the old city, and 4 minutes walk from Limburg local train and bus station (ZOB Nord).

For non German guests, there is poor advertising of the " Low Emission Area" which covers more than 30 towns and cities in Germany, including Limburg. Only a third of the foreign ( British, Swiss Dutch) cars in the hotel carpark displayed the green disc in their windows. Once you leave the motorway or reach your hotel , you could receive a significant fine for not displaying the disc - a big "own goal " for the city if they don't forewarn their potential guests. Do they want to encourage tourism or deter them ? An advertising strategy needs to be worked out by the city and its hotels / tourist office, given the failure to reach their target guests from my brief review of our hotel carpark. A temporary pass for 2 weeks might a good idea , able to be purchased from corner shops, hotels and petrol stations. (similar to the vignette needed to use Austrian motorways I suggest). A suggestion to extend it to the permanent version could be suggested to guests who might return (or might decide to stay away from German cities).
Nice "Old city" best explored by foot - narrow streets and on a hill.

Irena was an amazing host and the apartment was much better than I expected. There were 5 adults staying and there was so much room for us all. Everything was exceptional clean and very well maintained. The apartment was in a lovely location close to Limburg and so very quiet which we also enjoyed. This will be the place we will stay when we next come to visit our family, but for longer than than a weekend. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in or around Limburg.

I visit Limburg regularly for business, but I always have a chance to walk in the old city on the morning or in the evening.
Old city is very nice, all buildings from 17th century.
A lot of very nice cafes and restaurants.

Limburg and the Lahn River Valley is one of my favorite places to visit in Germany. I spent many weekends along the river while living in the area in the 1980's. Limburg may not get as much publicity overseas as some other German towns but well worth a visit. Limburg is also a great place to stay for a few days, or more, to visit the Lahn river valley and all of its towns, castles, and museums.

This medieval city is a stunner.
This medieval city is a stunner. Located on the river Lahn, which flows gently through it. There are boot tours to take on the river, which we will plan more time for next time. The inner city, with its crooked, full timbered houses is absolutely unique. One of the lesser known spots for international tourists - it was busy with competitions and a convention, but still accessible, not elbow to elbow. We were lucky with the weather, and were able to sit outside at the cafes and bars. Next time I would be sure to book a hotel closer to or directly in the old part of the city.

The hotel is in a good location, next to the old town - which has lots of nice places to eat and shop! There is a parking place next to the hotel, which is safe. The hotel itself is fairly smart and the rooms a good size, if a little basic for the price. The staff were very friendly and also suggested a good Italian restaurant nearby (sorry I forgot the name and now cannot find it on the map!)
A more than fair hotel in Limburg, located close enough to the center. Spotless clean, modern, but simplist design, with own parking. A special mention for the breakfast, which was really good, with many choices. Perfect for a business stopover, but also for longer stay to visit the marvellous Limburg.
I have stayed several times at Hotel Huss and this is always a good choice.
I have always had nicely renovated and equipped rooms (some works seems to still be ongoing in corridors).
Location is very good: 3 minutes walk to the old city, just next to the main train and bus station (Limburg North).
Location on the edge of, but not in Limburg's old town is a plus as the evenings at this hotel are quiet. The personal attention and quality of their breakfast is worth the additional cost. Fascinating and quiet air conditioning system was a huge bonus due to hot evenings during my stay.
The hotel was clean and staff was great. They had special room for bicycle parking and that was great for us. The breakfast was super and fresh cherries from the tree was highlight. It is a perfect location for people who are travel via car as the location is near Autobahn
The hotel was very easy to reach by car and has ample parking space. The old town is less than 5 minutes walk and there are many restaurants nearby. The room was modern and very comfortable and the breakfast had a good and varied selection of breakfast items.
Right at the edge of the old town with the timber framed houses. The room is clear, quiet and comfortable. The shower has good pressure. Open air parking is right beside the hotel. The schnitzel at the restaurant is very delicious.
Good work on the renovations. Colour combinations were very good in the rooms.
Breakfast very good.
Despite proximity to rail station the rooms were quiet enough - at the back of hotel at least.
Good that parking is free too.
Very efficient, nice reception on arrival , very clean, great WiFi and 15min walk to centre. They had garage parking but it's so quiet the hotel location we didn't bother with the garage .
Breakfast very good.
I satayed there a couple of times before and like the hotel. Close to the old town with his restaurants, bars and terraces. Convenient as it is only 5 min. from the Motorway A3 and 75 km from Frankfurt.
Nice hotel close to the city centre. I was pleasure to stay even if it was only for one night. The whole hotel including bed, breakfast and , underground parking were great
