To tell you the truth I came here a year ago and I pretty much never gone back. I keep coming back. The cost of living in Egypt is so much better than America. and the food is a million times better. the people are real they just want to be happy . And they're never is a problem really it's just a different type of life and they're happy to share that with you and that's something I want more of for myself and them. Unlike Cairo, Aswan is much slower paced and people are much nicer. The city has several historical sites, temples, and islands. The views and food are amazing. I’m skipping Cairo on my next trip to Egypt and coming straight to Aswan and Luxor.

The local market is great it has unique and authentic goods.
The philae Temple is great it has spots to take photos and great views.
We enjoyed the Botonical Garden very much as it has plants from all over the world.
The feluca ride is one of the best things we enjoyed but first you have to agree on the price.

Tombs of the Nobles were really neat if you can make it over to the other bank. Watch out for the camel guys there though. We got roped into $50 camel rides.
Aswan was probably our least favorite stop in Egypt. Harassment by salespeople was higher here than at the Great Pyramids, and much higher than Luxor! We couldn't walk anywhere at anytime of the day without a salesperson walking with us for several blocks. And as soon as they were done, someone else would take over. Its too bad, I think the corniche could be a really pretty walk!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
I didn’t realize that the hotel was undergoing a little construction. It looked like they were upgrading their ramp. This meant we had to carry our bags up the stairs to the lobby.
The property is beautiful and has a terrific view of the town and we could see the Nile from our room. The restaurant was very good- we had dinner there.
BTW the construction noise never bothered us. We couldn’t hear it at all.
The location and the views of the beautiful ground surrounding the hotel the staff was exceptional! The food was great and extra special thanks to the manager for allowing us to take a dip after hours because we never got a chance to use the gorgeous pool. Our
boat guide to the nubian village couldn't ask for a better person. Aswan is a magical place. I can't wait to return home, because that's how they made you feel. Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan will forever be my home away from home.
EVERYTHING was simply perfect! The food was the BEST we had in Egypt. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, clean, and eco friendly which we love! The service and hospitality far surpasses any 5 star hotel. Tamir proactively arranged our airport transfer, a romantic sunset dinner along the Nile, and even accommodated an extended stay for us all before we even left the USA. We would have stayed longer if our trip allowed, we loved Ayujidda so much. This must not be missed!
The Manager ilhab superb ,he is the best man that i have ever meet in Egypt,he was very helpful about any issue..,real problem solver and honest man.
hotel location is very good and central ,,staff also very good ,housekeeping come everyday to clean ,bathroom and hot water ok,bed cosy ,ac working ,elevator working ok ,rooftop rest very good for breakfast that is set menu. For tours they are providing abu simbel and aswan city tours ,overall is very good for me
Bob Marley guest house isnt just a guest house it's an authentic Nubian experience. I am a lone female traveller in Egypt and I was very warmly welcomed by Ali and his family. Bob Marley guest house is very safe, the island people are very friendly and the food is fantastic. All excursions booked through the guest house are great value for money and I would highly recommend booking here, I definitely will book here when I'm back in Aswan.
The best hotel in Aswan and of what we have been traveling in Egypt. Super attentive staff, they look for us taxis - with price list-, takeaway, because if I had to find a but, it is that there is no restaurant service. Everything very clean. Located in the middle of the market. Very honest and reasonable with prices. I recommend it 100x100.

This small hotel was a last minute booking and it sorprised me and my coworker, rooms are really comfy and the best part its the view, hotel its located right at the Nile, sunrises are just amazing, they have a great terrace in beduin style and they offered breakfast.
also staff is super friendly and they always want to help.
The hotel is located in the Elephantine Island. Just a 5 min walk from the public ferry. There is a separate private ferry stand just in front of it. It is a new hotel with excellent facilities. AC was working perfectly. Beds were comfortable. Mohammed helped us a lot in booking tours for us
we returned to Philae hotel after a multi-day trip to Abu Simbel, and much appreciated the early check-in they could accommodate, as well as having stored some of our luggage in between.
Very comfortable room, great shower, and having a water kettle always is a plus.
super nice river view from the room. And the room is clean and quiet enough. Especially compared with the city hotels, you can enjoy a quiet morning. (if you live in hotels in the Aswan city centre, you will wake up by the broadcasting from the mosque every 5am)
Property is not well maintained not hygenic even staff was not clean at all toilets and bath rooms ware not clean. They also charged excessively for the airport pick up its more than any 5 star hotel charges. In my opinion you should take them out from your list
Hotel was nice and clean. The best thing is the view to the Nilo, so the location. The hotel is rather old style and it’s not perfect but is the best you can get in Aswan considering Egyptian standards… believe me. Ahhh…. Dinner and breakfast are amazing!
Having guest relations answering messages and fixing issues 24h is definitely 5 star service
Everybody in the hotel was very helpful throughout our stay and tried their best to make it special for us.
We definitely had a good time and can recommend
The place its self is absolutely gorgeous! The hotel is stunning and in a stunning location (a bit far from the town/city of Aswan, but in an absolutely amazing Nubian village.) The food it good. It is a nice and calm place.
Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. They arranged all the tours for me with a very reasonable price and took care of all the hotel and airport transfers. The hotel is so pretty and cozy. Best place to stay on Aswan
Great setting, lovely family, very helpful host, dreamy hotel, great balcony overlooks, very interesting village. Away from the Aswan craziness, but fun and easy transport on the ferry (5 Egyptian pounds per person)
It's a perfect place to stay in Aswan. David is definitely one of the best Egyptians we have met during our journey around Egypt. He's a very hospitable and helpful person.
We wish we could stay there more days.
Beautiful place and amazing staff! This is the most beautiful hotel ai stayed in Egypt… the Nubian art on the walls and the Nile view were stunning! Very clean!
